OK OK probably doesn't need it own topic, but imagine the excitment jordan schroeder would feel playing with marion gaborik, who being a minny kid probably grew up idolizing gabby, demo, willie and the wild. maybe if marion signs here, it'll push this kid to try harder to make the team this year.

Hyping someone we just drafted to play with someone who isn't even a part of the Canucks...
I'm pretty sure you were right about the "doesn't need a thread" part.

this board hypes up prospects on here way too much

Hodgson said he does not yet have full power in his right leg and is lacking explosiveness in his first couple of strides on the ice.

But Gillis and his coach refused to use the injury as an excuse for Hodgson's sub-par camp.

"He's been cleared to play for 10 days and we're in a time frame now where things need to get better," Gillis said. "He needs to show that he is ready and capable of participating at this level on a good team." (Vancouver Province)

Schroeder is a college player. He will not be at training camp, because that would cost him his scholarship. He will undoubtably be back at school in the fall and will be offered a pro contract after his second year of college, if all goes well.

He may decide to stay in school and not sign until after his third or even fourth year.
Trade Bieksa? Not even if it was a one for one deal for a guy like Ovechkin. And I am being serious. Linden53

The leading scorer on the world Junior team over JVR and Colin Wilson. He's already got two years under his belt at University Hockey. He's not being hyped, he's just that damn good.
