lol at calgary for having 13 million in 2 defenseman lolz

lol at vancouver for having 12.2 million in 2 forwards, errr make that one forward, since the sedins count as one. without each other they don't justify each at 6.1

nuck fans should worry about their own team and coming cap issues.

why are free agents not choosing vancouver? that's the question you should be asking.

Soft enough to own the F-Lames every time they play each other over past four or five years......so what is your point?

What other two players, not on entry deals, give you 160 plus points for that kind of money, that kind of D responsibility AND that kind of durability? They were not only point per game all season, they were point per game in the playoffs too. How many teams have a pair of players who did both of those things for that kind of money? :)

Now, how many teams had D-men with better +/- than JBo or Celine? Even Florida had Keith Ballard and Bryan McCabe (yes! that Bryan McCabe) have better +/- years than JBo.....wow.....wow.

those two players are essentially one. they don't do anything without the other. so essentially you have one player for 12.2. granted they are star players, in the playoffs the played great. the hope for all of vancouver is that one doesn't get hurt...ever. the other alone, will NEVER justify a 6.1 hit.

plus their whole situation is just weird. still do everything together.

on another note, your knowledge and analysis of hockey is stunningly superficial.

I'm pretty sure most teams would pay up to $15 million for "one" player that scored 160 points per season.

Wow, that guy who said the Sedins are "one" player is very ignorant. What about the other first line players in the NHL? Should we count them as one player just because they feed off of each other's points?

Hes too much money and he handicapps calgary for when there 200 K under the cap at the end of april theyll be screwed,
canucks are better off without his cap troubling ways

End of April is playoffs and the cap is a non event at that point. Calgary got into cap trouble because of injuries incurred at a time when cap relief was not available due to LTIR relief. It was a question of the timing of the injuries in the last few games of the year and not the fact they got hit with injuries. It was just injuries we would have been in cap hell in 07/08 when most of our D was down.

As opposed to Calgary and their two forwards at 12.25 mil? Without a trade the F(lames) have made themselves a one line team offensively

Thanks to R.Luongo. for the amazing sig

Your first comment is just asinine

Which ones have said no? The Canucks already have their 1st line players, they don't need to go after anyway.

oh and the Nucks cap is just fine

I am glad he did not with the Canucks. Did you hear how dumb he sounds in his interviews? Definitely a player with little to no character.

The Flames have 19 contracts counting for 53.7M, leaving them 3M. They're likely to add 3 more contracts to that roster, since teams generally carry 13 forwards and 7 defenseman. Factoring in those 3 players, they're likely to be left with about 1M in cap space, leaving them little room to work with. What if they run into injuries again? Then what?
