Who would you rather have.....Sjostrom or Samuelsson? That is the kind of differential you will see between the two teams offensive push this year.....don't see how anyone can argue the F-Lames are better off....but some will of course.

Sjostrom - 750k
Samuelsson - 2.5 million

Stupid argument is stupid.

(Also, I'd rather have Jay Bouwmeester than either of them)

The point is the Canucks have the CAP space to have players like Samuelsson play even on third line while F-Lames are talking about Sjostrom as a potential first liner. :)

Yes, JBo is a nice hyped pick up for the F-Lames. Hope that works out for you guys and he doesn't do a regression ala Celine. I am sure your boards over there are very supportive of Celine and his career progression.....as much as the scenario of having borderline AHL players make up the forward lines after a select few.

Oh, your username is perfect! Have a good one. :)

Alex Burrows, I fail to see the reason why nobody questions his ability to play in the nhl. He can't skate; its ridiculous. IMOP Alex Burrow's an embarrassment to the team. Please Gillis let this guy go and keep Krog or Pettinger or Brown whoever.

We could of signed Hossa or Camalleri. You know what other teams think of us? Gay club. The Sedins are playing like homosexuals.

the Canucks' GM sells houses. How's his opinion any more expert, as you implied, than a pop singer?

I'm gonna laugh my donkey off in April when the Flames finish the season with way more goals than the Canucks and a division title.

Anybody claiming this needs a smack to the head. That's like saying a fair representation of the Canucks fanbase is those people who thought they could get Gaborik, Hossa, Niedermayer, and both Sedins all on the same team.

I find it funny that you've now given Jay Bo the title of 'overrated', given the fact that if he went to free agency he would've been the most sought after guy of the entire crop by a country mile.

But hey, I'm sure thousands of sports analysts and 30 professional hockey franchises have no idea of his true worth compared to some homer shmuck on a message board.

as a rangers fan, i am sad to see sjo go. he was a fantastic pk'er with betts that gave the rags the number 1 pk in the league. he is fast as hell, hits, and is great on the 4th line. he is not a top six guy, nor will he be in calgary. for 750k, its a great signing by calgary. one of the best 4th liners you can get.

Flames are gonna fall so fast ont heir face.

It's gonna be funny when Edmonton finishes higher than them in the standings.

I don't know if it will be funny but it sure won't be unexpected. One team is on the rise and the other one decline so they are bound to pass one another at some point and this season seems as likely as any.

Thanks for confirming that after line 1, there really is no scoring
