Wow this is like the only positive news for Canucks fans today (other than Sedins signing). I'm actually very surprised at how picky Heatley is. I would assume he'd want to go anywhere but Ottawa, and Edmonton isn't a bad place to play at all...Go to the East Heatley!

54 pages on the oiler board. I almost feel bad for them. Edmonton is a terrible place though especially during the winter.
I am not a bandwagoner, I am just pessimistic. 35 years with no cup will do that to you. Win 1 cup, and I will not say a negative thing about the team for 5 years.

He said that he sent text messages about Heatley to his family in Edmonton, but they never received the text messages. Therefore, not even the TEXT messages want to go to Edmonton. It's a lot less funny when you have to explain it.
