QUOTE (Tripwyre)
Can't spell Kesler without Selke.

QUOTE (VictorHedman @ Aug 23 2008, 12:29 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Slapyourself if you think Kesler will score 25+ goals, he just doesn't have the offensive skill.

ASSETS: Is a huge physical specimen and also an aggressive type by nature. Likes to lay on the body and owns some shutdown qualities.
FLAWS: Will never be a big point producer in the NHL. Struggles against quicker forwards that surpass him on the outside.
CAREER POTENTIAL: No. 6 or 7 defenseman.

i don't think we need another depth D
we need a top4
QUOTE (G0NUCKSG0 @ Jun 3 2009, 05:14 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Salo should be making $1.5M, not $3.75M, especially when he is hurt. I like that Mitchell for Johnson proposal. Injecting youth into our defensive corps would be good for us. Johnson and Mitchell are similar players, Erik has more offensive upside though.

QUOTE (anthom13 @ Jun 29 2009, 01:15 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
J Bo's a bum, Bieksa would mop the ice with him in most aspects of the game.

he seems too good to be 7th... moneyball target?
Moneyball is not in trades fpr older players , Moneyball is about very good drafting and being able to move those players before they start becoming UFAs that you cant afford and get more high end draft picks or high end prospects and then you keep doing this cycle

We need quick, mobile d-men that can move the puck, no big slugs. We saw what happened in the Hawks series.

Philly got him at the deadline from Boston I'm pretty sure.

EDIT: From TSN- 13-OCT-08 ACQUIRED FROM THE BOSTON BRUINS.
Nvm, I guess they got him near the beginning of last season.

he is actually much quicker then people think,, he was a little inconsistent, but he played very well for the Flyers, very good in the 5/6 spot,, big upgrade for what nucks have there atm

he is not a fighter or a tough player though,, hits occasionally, but doesnt look to hit like a pronger.

Then Boston needs to fire it's webmaster because having a link to a player who hasn't played for you since the 2007/2008 season is a little ridic, dontyaagree?
