See Wade redden, scott gomez, Chris Drury, Markus Naslund, jaromir jagr, etc etc etc

Clint Eastwood is the last true badass.
He's the last living legend. He's even kickass as a 78 year old.
All hail Clint eastwood. John wayne fans can only dream.
RIP Luc Bourdon. God bless the bourdon family

Hopefully MG has something up his sleeve.
Even the hawks GM last year was quoted saying " You always overpay on July 1st"

Hossa landed the most surprising contract and may have seen his hockey odyssey end in the process. He signed a US$62.4-million, 12-year deal with the Blackhawks - the fourth team the talented winger has skated with in three seasons.
It's the second straight year that Chicago GM Dale Tallon has been a major player on the opening day of free agency. He signed Brian Campbell and Cristobal Huet to long-term contracts last summer and admitted then that "you always overpay on July 1."
I think Gills is going to be patient, and not throw all he has at one or two guys. I think he will wait to capitalize
on a team with cap issues, or wait for the right trade. I am happy he didn't give and injury prone player 7.5 million(as much as I like Gabby).Havlat has played about the same amount of games in the last few years as gabby, and Hossa and Gionta consistently gets less points than the Sedins

He payed Brian Campbell around 7.14M to much a year. They better be hoping Huet shows up this year and can play great, or they might have to throw in Corey Crawford.

Also no duh the Canuck's were interested in Gaborik, but I'm glad we didn't blow 7.5M bucks on him.
