A 99 years old Zubov without legs is better than the 95% players of the NHL.

Strickland's credibility is way down after his botched Pronger to Kings rumour.

There's a reason why Zubov hasn't been scooped up yet, btw. He's done.

Who's to say there wasn't something in place and then it fell apart?
This does happen you know...

Zubov played for the Rangers against the Canucks in the 94 finals. Thats how old he is.

So did Kovalev..........

Zubov to the Blues is a good addition. Ya he was hurt last year but he is good on the power play and strong even strength; as long as he stays healthy that is

Don't they have too many already ? Brewer, Jackman or Backman(dont remember which one), Polak, Johnson, Pietrangelo, Colaiacovo

Also they let Mckee go because he was injured too much and too expensive....same thing with Zubov.

Yeah it's been a whole 2 days since free agency started. If you're not signed now, you MUST suck. Tanguay, Kovalev, Koivu, Beauchemin, Schneider, Zubov are all done because they aren't signed to a stupid long and overpaying contract!!

Give me a break. Zubov makes any team better, period.

Preview to 2010

Zubov is still one of the best puckmoving defenseman in the league. He and Kaberle are what I want for expensive puckmovers.. but only if Bieksa is shipped. :x

Wasn't Zubov like point-per-game before getting hurt in 07/08? He would help any team.

I would LOVE to have Zubov. Even if he ONLY played on the PP. He's pretty much as good a PP qb out there right now. I know the injury problems exist, but he'd be an awesome addition to a team who's second power play unit was really weak for long stretches.

Anybody know what his approximate asking price is? With all the injuries he's had over the past two seasons I'm sure his market value would take a hit.

for anyone who's waiting for MG to sign a puck moving dman, it's not gonna happen. Free agency signings are too expensive for us right now and quite frankly most of the signings I've seen are ripoffs. MG will get one tho just not through UFA. A trade is coming at some point this summer, a pretty big one you can count on that
