Man, Tampa Bay's defence is going to be solid next season. Ohlund, Krajicek, Hedman, Ranger, Meszaros, and Smaby is not a bad blueline at all. Ohlund can show Hedman how to dish out some bonecrushing hits and Krajicek can help Hedman set a goal for his skating. Nice to know two former Canucks will be helping out a future superstar develop.
It's too bad the Canucks didn't hang on to Krajicek. I can see what they were trying to do, but the lack of mobility of their blueline has became painfully obvious. O'Brien had his moments, but it's not like he was a physical force. They could have just kept Krajicek and plugged in Davison now and again versus bigger teams. Krajicek's great mobility could have been really useful to the Canucks breakout this past season and in the playoffs.
