UPDATE*: DEAL COULD COME VERY SOON

According to a source the LA Kings are in negotiations with Martin Biron. The one thing I’m puzzled about is with Jonathan Quick coming on strong how does this go against his development?

i havn't seen this any where, is this even credible? http://www.hockey-bums.ca/

huh isn't Biron looking for long term though? wouldn't LA want short term with Quick and Esberg there...

The source isn't reliable. Although I can see Biron going to LA because they do need a goalie right now and Biron is one of the best goalies left out there right now.

He will take playing time away from Quick and Ersberg.

How does that even make sense, they have Ersberg who they gave an extension to, Quick who played very well while Ersberg was gone and they have Bernier. I dont see the point in LA bringing in another goalie when they have 3 young goalies to grow.

They might bring Biron in to replace Quick, seeing how his stock as risen over last year. The Heatley trade is still in the air you know.

It doesn't make sense at all, they also have Johnathan Bernier in the AHL.

by the way anyone who says that that isnot a reliable source is wrong! hockey bums was the first source to report the signing of brian gionta to the canadiens! so dont try and take credibility away from a perfectly good source.

Any Site that uses the word "bum" loses all credibility right away.

Why is it that LA is in on every free agent? I mean, they can't sign them, but they're rumoured to be targetting everyone. :x
