people. you got to remember that kesler and luongo's contracts are on their last year. you guys keep wanting these 4, 5 million dollar players but we don't have the money for it. it we want luongo and kesler then we need to keep that cap space. luongo is going to be asking for 7.5 or more and kesler should be making 3 to 4 mil. it all adds up and if we sign a big name defenceman for big bucks then were not going to have enough cap space for next year,

Good luck trying to argue this point. I've been saying this for months, people don't seem to care. As long as there's a big name out there, there's going to be threads about how perfect they'd be in Vancouver and 'get r done Gillis!!' 
Just join the dwindling ranks of realistic and long term thinkers here on CDC and try not to lose your mind wading through this section. We've got support groups, and free coffee and donuts. The jackets are $50 bucks each.
