Okay, so Afino will not be going to Washington, good to hear

Afino's probably the biggest wildcard in the market. Are they really willing to take the risk, considering Nylander?

If he signs for 1.5-2.5 mill, I would take a chance on him. I think he still has it in him given the oppertunity.

Sedin - Sedin - Samuelsson
Afinogenov - Kesler - Demitra
Burrows - Hodgson - Bernier
Hordichuk - Johnson - Rypien

Keith/Barker - Mitchell
Edler - Salo
O'Brien - Vaananen/Rome/Nycholat/Baumer

Luongo
Schneider

Afinogenov @ 2.5 mill for 3 years
Raymond, Hansen to Chicago for rights to Barker, Sign him at 2-3 mill for 2 years? I dunno

Eklund probably pulled that one out his donkey.

Everyone knows Washington is Russian Haven.

Was gonna say the exact same thing as Sanford.

"Oh, an unsigned Russian, Washington likes Russians, (e2)".

No because he's very skilled
but in reality he's had his problems

Everybodys had their problems.

Look at Bertuzzi, he went to calgary and did very well for himself.

Like having season point totals of 20 and 28?

Oh, and 31 before the two seasons where he fed off of very very skilled players?

No thanks to Maxim.

The Canucks should definitely go after this guy. Afinogenov has tons of speed and has the ability to finish if he's playing with players who can keep up with him. If he's on a line with Kesler, they could skate circles around opposing defenders.

All I know about Eklund is that he's some douchebag with a blog who thinks he's an NHL insider. Hopefully this is a load of garbage as usual and Vancouver signs Afinogenov to a deal soon.
