Other teams interested: St. Louis, NYR and Anaheim.

If he's healthy, could be a huge addition to our blueline

Well, we're desperate for a defense man. A puck moving defense man in that

Thanks, RK.17 for the Sig!

We're pretty much where I'd thought we'd be - out of the playoffs and no Demitra in the lineup. Coming in to this season anyone with a brain would be able to recognize that this isn't a playoff team, and they're performing just as I suspected they would.

Yes please! He would be the perfect player right now, although he is getting old and will probably retire soon. I'd give him 2 years at 4 mill per.

Only 1 year, might help bring other Russians over (Koltsov, Shirkov, etc.)

I just remember him from the 2006-07 playoff series against the Stars and he was killing us. Who knows how that series turned out if he was healthy enough to play in game 7. Nonetheless, he could do for us what Rafalski does for the Wings.

1 year, 2.5-3M, if he's healthy, that's awesome.

I'd take Zubov over Bauchmin any day! Norris and 2 times Stanley cup winner. I think 5M for one year is a good deal.

1 year $2million max IMO.

Although I wouldn't be angry at anything less than $3.5million.

If he can get healthy and stay healthy, then great.

But I have a feeling he's heading to St. Louis.

I would only sign him cheap with a bonus laden contract if eligible, which I think he is.

It's been three years since Zubov even played 50 games, let alone a full season. He's too old.

NO THANKS.

Zubov! Yes please!

2 years - 5 million the first year, 450,00 the second year.

2.5 million dollar cap hit, then buy him out after he retires next season.

Edler point prediction: 12 goals, 33 assists and 45 points / Edler point counter: 0 goals, 7 assists and 7 points.

I have to agree with Zubov too, but nothing past a year. He'll be 39 next season.

Since our 1 glaring hole now is that pure offensive dman, then yeah he'd be a better choice than Beauchemin. But that aside and in considering a long term, I like the Beauchemin route. And to contradict myself again, Ohlund essentially does what Beauchemin does on the ice. So if that didn't work last year, why would it work this year (simply b/c of the youth injection? i doub it). I think Zubov would be good.

hell to the yes. WOuld be a huge addition to a defense that has gotten a bit weak, well at least weaker.
I say 2yrs, 3.75 per yr maybe, or just 1 yr.

This would be this season's Sundin move, but hopefully Zubov would come at a far better price, since he's banged-up and all.

Him and Salo would pretty much share the season.

Man, do we need some defensive prospects or what? RIP Bourdon.
