I know he's getting old and has had recent injury problems, but what about signing UFA Segei Zubov to a one-year deal at no more than $2.5 million (or less if he'll accept it). The Canucks really only need a 5th defenseman, but they do need a d-man with some good offensive vision and who can play on the power play to fill the void for Ohlund. Sergei Zubov brings exactly that to the table.

I agree with what all the others said contract wise, but I have a feeling some team will offer him 3.5-4 million a year.
