Didn't he say Naslund was a bad captain or something?

No, he said that the room was divided and that Bertuzzi didnt really talk to anyone but Naslund.

YA that is the last thing you want! SOmeone who will tell it like it is. McCarthy was obviously not impressed by the way that Beertuzzi and Naslund routinely left the dmen out to dry with their less than enthusiastic backchecking. They were content to let Cloutier take the fall and ask for more money during contract negociations. Thank goodness those days are done. If it happened today I guarantee Kesler and Burrows would take Beertuzzi out behind the arena and tune him in!

IMHO, Cloutier is not really to be blamed. He's a legitimate season goalie. It's really too bad that we contributed to his career downfall :/

Keep in mind, the same people who wanted to trade Cloutier for a bag of pucks are roughly the same people who want Luongo traded right now.
Humble pie is delicious :)

I disagree I still believe Cloutier was never the goalie the nucks needed or later on any team needed for that matter yet I am not one of the idiots who thinks Luongo should be traded nor have I ever. As far as McCarthy is concerned he could have said whatever he wanted I really don't know what he said what I do know is he was not a good player regardless of playing time in Vancouver.

Hey, how about you all shut the frack up? :)

"OMG he wears a chinstrap"
-umm so? Ovechkin wears a necklace, Crosby can't grow a beard, Luongo is greasy as frack, bertuzzi likes to sucker-punch, sedins are gingers. Everyone has thier own thing.

"He's such a tool"
-Oh yeah? and when was it again that you made the NHL?

"he's a cancer"
-That is 100% false, maybe if Crawford wasn't such a frack-up he would still be on the team. He started scoring as soon as he was traded, making us look like a bunch of idiots. Crawford didn't allow him to play, and THAT is why he requested the move.

"Look at me, I'm a typical retard on CDC who cant play hockey but likes ripping on people who can"
-Why yes you are, and how kind of you to admit it.

Fact"
-McCarthy is better than some of our depth defense. He would fit in nice as a 6-7 guy if we gave him a chance. As much as I love the canucks, I hope he fracking scores every game against us, just so you guys can STFU :)

nah, he's just a good family friend who is from my hometown. I also thought played very well for the canucks given the limited chances he got.

During that game they were showing Gretz on the bench and I said to my son (who was 8 at the time) - do you know who that is?

He said 'Yeah, that is Wayne Gretzky. He is the best player ever. But now he is retarded.' (he meant to say retired)

A fellow Trail boy eh......

I thought the last few games before trade deadline he played great when given the minutes. Our top 4 were down and he was given a bigger role. I remember watching the game in Calgary and he played amazing.

What was the lineup we dressed again?

Bryan Allen, Steve McCarthy, Wade Brookbank, Nolan Baumgartner, Tomas Mojzis, Prestin Ryan, Sven Butenschon?

Edgalor, you have served us well, but now it appears that you have lost your mind, and are oddly attracted to Sergei Shirokov. You are ordered to stay 100 metres from GM Place at a times, and to stay out of Russia. Also, you will now be forced to retire and wll lead "sensitivity" training for all NHL head coaches so you can teach them how to help them "treat" prospects so as not to crush their prissy "feeings."

He was a cancer in the dressing room that's why he got traded by the Canucks to the Thrashers.

There was a quote that he was "OJ in training" which was a direct reference to O Jokinen.....tells you all you need to know about the guy's character.

Alex Burrows, I fail to see the reason why nobody questions his ability to play in the nhl. He can't skate; its ridiculous. IMOP Alex Burrow's an embarrassment to the team. Please Gillis let this guy go and keep Krog or Pettinger or Brown whoever.

It's hard to believe that he was a first round pick.

Another gem from the CDC brain trust:

Also - he doesn't seem to care like Trevor did. He had better get hot quickly to preserve any of the dwindling respect anyone has for his abilities. He needs to prove that he's even a starter.

Possibly the worst post I've ever read.

So i can't act, but I say that Megan Fox is terrible.

You're counter argument for this is that I've never been in a Hollywood blockbuster??

What the hell? Of course we're not in the NHL, No-one is comparing him to themselves you fracktard. Their comparing him to OTHER NHL PLAYERS.

And as for other comments, are you saying that you've never made fun of someone for anything????

wow.

A) Recyclying is for Budgies and ????.
B) Oh yeah, I compared him to "OTHER NHL PLAYERS" too. He is better than our 7-8th D-core. And on this board I am pretty sure people would compare them to themselves.
C) Well I tend to stay away from beaking people who have a better life than me, I may say some players have had bad games, but I wont say they are useless. Luongo let us down... doesn't mean he is a bum. Byron Ritchie didn't work well with us, doesn't mean he's a bum. You see sometimes people repect NHL'ers for their commitment to the game they love, and not their talent level.
D) He was a first rounder, he IS good. Maybe not as good as Lidstrom, but who is?

What most of you seem to not realise is the commitment and effort that you have to go through in order to get into the NHL. Steve once told me that I could do it if I set my mind to it, he was the whole reason why I am who I am today. I may not have made it, and I never will, but you have to understand what these players go through to get where they are today. A lot of you "fracktards" (yeah cuz I can be immature too), just dont get it, and say "Oh he sucks" well go try to live his life. I bet you wouldn't be able to.

so back at you for not getting how hard they work,

wow (same great brand but now with more frack you)
