Summary:

Trades Murray will accept for Heatley

From NYR- Marc Staal, Grachev, Dane Byers, 1st and 3rd

From SJ- Clowe,Vlasic, Sexsmith, 1st rnd

Yikes.. for those unfamilar with these players I will make a "comparison" to teh canucks roster

I dont see how NYR would be interested in Heatley, Heatley is a softy and Torts will rip him a new one! Heatley is just gonna cry for another trade

Burrows, Rodin, Ellington, 1st rnd.

From San Jose the comparison would be more like Kesler, Edler, Schneider and a 1st.

Heatley will stay a Sen just because he's a douche and Murray is a retard.

How is Kesler not better then Clowe? First off, he is a more complete player in every way compared to Clowe. Also, Clowe gets to play with Joe Thornton or Patrick Marleau to help his point totals. Kesler had 60 points with 32 games of Mats Sundin and Demitra and 50 games on a 3rd line.

I got egg on my face. I thought Clowe was younger than Kesler.

The Rangers deal is way worse, Sather would be stupid.

That would be like us giving them Hodgson, Edler, Hansen and a 1st and 3rd

The SJ deal would be like us giving them Edler, Burrows, Schneider and a 1st

I'd be tempted to offer Thornton for Heatley. Just based on Joe's previous playoff performances. He's had several chances and been far from impressive.

Not knowing either teams situations, I'll just assume this trade wouldn't go through.

You will be missed. Farewell and best of luck, Markus.

maybe the guy doesnt know what ">" means... how the hell can anybody argue that Kesler is a better more complete player than Clowe..I gurantee at least 27 gms would take Kesler over Clowe anyday

For all those people that say that Clowe plays with Thornton and Marleau, he actually doesn't. He's most commonly found playing with Pavelski and Michalek. So really, he gets to play with Joe and Marleau as much as Kesler does with the Sedins.

I wonder if Murray would take Marleau + a player like Clowe, Pavelski, or even Grier. Ottawa needs some depth up front.

I think a fair trade would be Setoguchi and Ehrhoff for Heatley ( I don't think Setoguchi will ever be as good as Heatley and San Jose would need to shed salary) If I was San Jose, I would also try something like Marleau and Petrecki.

for the Rangers, maybe Zherdev, Stepan and Sanguinetti for Heatley. Zherdev is inferior to Heatley, but with Stepan and Sanguinetti you get two unknown commodities with potential as and a 2nd Line Center a Top 4 Defenseman who can run a PP.

Clowe gets tossed in the first unit PP with Boyle,Marleau on the point, Thornton on the half board, Seteguchi looking for the one time and Clowe in front of the net.
