he has no other choice after having to pay the 4 million to heatley he pretty much handcuffed the ottawa senators now they have to keep him on their team until one team decides to make a ridiculous trade for him he might as well run off to russia lie emery

if i were San Jose, i would heavily consider the deal; the thought of heatley with Thornton is too much to pass on

Ranger would just be idiotic to accept that trade

EDIT - its too much, and Gaborik what?

From San Jose the comparison would be more like Kesler, Edler, Schneider and a 1st.

Heatley will stay a Sen just because he's a douche and Murray is a retard.

I don't think so.

Kesler > Clowe
Edler>=Vlasic
Schneider>>>>>>Sexsmith
Van 1st>SJ 1st

It is more like:
Burrows = Clowe
Edler>=Vlasic
Elington=Sexsmith
Van 1st > SJ 1st

Then perhaps ship off Spezza to LA for Jack Johnson and a roster forward or a couple prospects. I doubt either one would want to play wing or be 1/2 tandem.

But like I said in my first post.. :unsure:

The trade does look pretty sexy though.

You will be missed. Farewell and best of luck, Markus.

Heatley would not work with Tortarella...Heatley is the biggest softy and Torts will rip him a new one then he will ask for another trade

Its not that. I think he should be fired for making these rediculous propositions of players he would take for Heatley.

Its not like he has much of a bargaining chip with a player who wants off the team and hes being very unreasonable asking for packages worth much more than Heatley's value.

Thanks to my buddy NucksFC for the sig!

Heatley + 1st Rnd Pick --> Pavelski + Michalek

Comrie Spezza Alferdson

Folingno Pavelski Michalek

Ruutu Fisher Neil

Kelly Shannon

Not bad. Folingno will be a 20 goal scorer next season.

this list of asking price seems out of line with the trade they almost made with edmonton. to the point i find it hard to believe. cogliano is a decent prospect but they had to take back the contract of penner which is terrible plus he is lazy and that effects team moral. and smid who isnt even in the top 4 dmen. it would be closer to our equivillent of raymond, sob and bernier.. i know you can argue the edmonton offer had better players but eith this they dont eat a bad contract with a long time left.
OK, cue the children bumping their post counts to call me names.

Summary:

Trades Murray will accept for Heatley

From NYR- Marc Staal, Grachev, Dane Byers, 1st and 3rd

From SJ- Clowe,Vlasic, Sexsmith, 1st rnd

Yikes.. for those unfamilar with these players I will make a "comparison" to teh canucks roster

I dont see how NYR would be interested in Heatley, Heatley is a softy and Torts will rip him a new one! Heatley is just gonna cry for another trade

Burrows, Rodin, Ellington, 1st rnd.

People need to cut it out with the fing get heatley threads. It's retarded. He is way way way too overpaid to even think about it. Plus with the 4 million bonus the paid him, they will expect nothing less than a first born child for him. FOR FCK SAKES, HEATLEY IS NOT WORTH WHAT IT WOULD TAKE TO GET HIM!! NOT EVEN CLOSE

It's obvious that since this is a slow news day, that these list are cooked up rumours from some guys twitter.

Both of those deals are way better than the deal they accepted from Edmonton, just because they paid $4 million doesnt mean the offer is going to get any better.

Clowe and Vlasic alone are better than Penner, Smid, and Cogliano.

The Rangers deal is about as much as I would offer without the draft picks.
