I'm patient and I don't mind Mike Gillis waiting around but is he even looking into a second liner or a puck moving d-man.

What about our RFA's what is their status have they received offers.

Try a search, this didn't need it's own topic.

Second liner? Why? We don't need one now.

Decent top 6 if you ask me. Samuelsson can bring more speed and energy than Sundin did, and Burrows seemed exactly what the twins needed.

As for a puck moving defenceman, they're not cheap, nor are they abundant in supply. Gillis is being careful with his cap space, a concept that seems lost on most people around here. And that's the smartest way to do it. We're not going to roll over other teams next season and win the Presidents trophy, but we're not going to be bottom feeders like a lot of people seem to think.

I don't care how good Kopitar gets, I will never believe that drafting Luc Bourdon was a mistake. Never.

I agree...IMO we have a strong chance and winning the Division again...Gillis has kept the main core together and they're all getting better together as a TEAM.
