Apparentltly Beauchemin has verbally agreed to sign with a team with cap issues, Beauchemin has given them 48 hrs to properly give him an offer and to make a trade so that theya re not in cap issues.

Also Anaheim has lowballed him

the dominos are starting to fall!

I really really like what Beauchemin has done here, he has been very very patient, waited until Team Canada named him to the summer roster and let his stock grow..

I wonder what team he has chosen, Philly? SJ to stay in California? Calgary? ahah can you imagine!

You are foolish for even putting Calgary in your list of teams.

I am going to say either the Kings or Toronto.

He's a 20-25 point Dman with above average defensive play. I heard on the radio that he's looking for 5M. I'd be mad if Tambellini gave him 3.5M.

I don't know who he thinks he is. He's the product of playing with Pronger.

It this is true (I'm not convinced) there's one team that's in cap trouble and has pubicly stated that they're looking for a shutdown defenseman. And that team is the Chicago Blackhawks.

Other teams in cap trouble include: Boston, Calgary, Detroit, Philly, Pittsburgh and San Jose.

Vancouver FTW

Hopefully

Great Dman defintly underrated puck mover. Has refined his skill underneath Scott Neidermeyer for the last 3 or 4 seasons

Maybe they sign Beauchemin and trade Phaneuf for a top 6 forward (Heatley?).

Calgary?? Unless they want to trade Joikenen, Calgary has a hard time of completing it's roster with what they have left.

Maybe there is a thing called a SALARY CAP!!

Phaneuf 6.5 mil << Heatley 7.5 mil It makes their salary cap even worse so I don't see what changes.
