im in a 24 team keeper league, with 8 keepers selected per season and rull rosters filled through a despersal draft.

on the edge of my keeper roster is Brayden Schenn. Obviously he's there cause of his potential, but he hasnt shown he's capable of producing big numbers in the NHL, even playing beside Giroux...

I offered him stragiht up for Teddy Purcell, being that he plays on the #1 scoring team in the league, and on the #1 PP with Stamkos and St Louis.

He came back with Schenn + Frattin (who I picked off waivers last week) for Purcell.

IM ok with the initial deal, but am unsure to what Frattin might emerge into if he continues to stay in the NHL... He wouldnt be a keeper for me, but if his output for this season + Schenns output is greater than Purcell, then I dont see the point in making the deal.

My questions are:

What kind of potential production do you see Schenn being able to achieve for this and next season?

Is Matt Frattin capable of continued production?

Would you make this swap if you wsere in my shoes?

thanx for any feedback!

I need a LW and I'm considering picking up Hudler (4 points in 2 games). I'm trying to figure out who I should drop, Gagner or Turris.

Pick two:
Ward vs PHI
Lindback vs BOS
Fasth vs STL
Theodore vs WSH

I know I have too many goalies, getting rid of Theodore soon. Also none are confirmed (dailyfaceoff)

Does anyone here know if Fasth is still the duck's starter or if he'll be sharing games 50-50 with Hiller? Or is he just a regular old backup?

If you create your own pool with friends or co-workers, pickuphockey.com is pretty good.

Friends and I are doing a live in person draft, and I was just wondering if there was a website where I could enter all of our drafted teams and it would keep track of all the stats, and the GM's of their own teams could log in to make roster changes and whatnot.

Thanks

do a live draft there once they start it up and it automatically tracks your draft picks and you can make your own roster changes.

I haven't used pickuphockey.. but yahoo is decent. Fantrax is also one I have recently started using and it definitely has some benefits over yahoo. Specifically, having a chatroom, albeit limited, on the league's main page, and being able to use the software during the offseason are the biggest pros.

Thanks guys, will look into those. I don't want to do Yahoo because our draft is going to be in person at a bar and we will be handwriting the draft picks on paper, so we won't be able to draft them on yahoo at the same time.
