on the edge of my keeper roster is Brayden Schenn. Obviously he's there cause of his potential, but he hasnt shown he's capable of producing big numbers in the NHL, even playing beside Giroux...
I offered him stragiht up for Teddy Purcell, being that he plays on the #1 scoring team in the league, and on the #1 PP with Stamkos and St Louis.
He came back with Schenn + Frattin (who I picked off waivers last week) for Purcell.
IM ok with the initial deal, but am unsure to what Frattin might emerge into if he continues to stay in the NHL... He wouldnt be a keeper for me, but if his output for this season + Schenns output is greater than Purcell, then I dont see the point in making the deal.
My questions are:
What kind of potential production do you see Schenn being able to achieve for this and next season?
Is Matt Frattin capable of continued production?
Would you make this swap if you wsere in my shoes?
