OMG Windy?

are you getting a refund ?

I see what you did there. But no, it was sold out and I couldn't get tickets.

And you can't get a refund for this anyways. It's only if the performer cancels, not if weather makes it so you can't get there.

I hate heavy winds. It means that they use the cross wind runway at the airport and I have to put up with the loud airplanes all night. Normally all I have to deal with are the small prop planes, but not on windy nights.

Fracking windy in Richmond right now. I hope we don't lose power :(

Too late. 3 Rd and Granville lost power.

I just walked down to the store and back (Cambie Village area), it sounded like plane was landing.

My son's friend just showed up here...he works at the Big River Brewing Co. and they lost power....had a party going on in there at the time.

Fingers crossed (although at least it won't interrupt a hockey game if it does go out...nothing worse than that).

It's still VERY windy outside!

A few of my friends just lost their power... My lights have flickered a few times, but that's about it. Hopefully it doesn't go out.

It was just the stretch of 3Rd between Granville and Blundell.

Crazy. I'm on Blundel and Minoru and never lost power. :)

Weird, because it was just that one small stretch.

Buswell was fine; Minoru was fine; the rest of Granville was fine.

The last 2km of my run yesterday sucked. It was gusting at around 80km/h head on so it felt like I was going nowhere and doing the running man dance move instead.

Shoulda just run the other way. That would have been interesting.

Yah then I would have been Usain Bolt pretty much, but only getting further and further from home.
