I would probably only give Cheechoo a chance at 750k or less. Don't think it's a gamble that we can't pass up.

I've just been thinking of wild trades in my mind, trades that I would or would not make and a few I was thinking of are tough to decide. So just want cdc's opinion on if they would do these trades if somehow possible.

It's just for fun so tell me what you think and some trades of your own and be realistic. Kinda like the game "would you rather" but in this case "would you trade"...

OK would you guys trade:

Sedins for Toews and Kane or Getzlaf and Perry?

and the one I really want ppl's take on is:

Kesler for Datsyuk?

Remember, in no way im saying to the canucks go out and make these trades cus i kno its not happening. Just discussing and comparing players.

Sedins for Toews and Kane... :picard: ok lets swap our top players for the enemies' top players

Getzlaf/Perry. They've already carried their team to the promised land. It's a tough one but I would do it.

Kesler for Datsyuk would be pretty tough to choose but Datsyuk makes players around him better. Kesler isn't that elite yet, but still mad props to him.

Isn't there an armchair GM forum, even if this is only for fun....

Why would Detroit or any rational gm trade his best player who makes highlight reel plays all year for someone who is prone to injury at playoff time when that is the time to excel?

Well, by that reasoning, so have Toews and Kane...more recently AND they are younger.

Not sure why anyone would want to trade back to back Art Ross trophy winning players for non back to back Art Ross trophy winners.

The Sedins are elite players in this league, why anyone would want to get rid of them is beyond me.

Oh wait, this is CDC. frantics.gif

Fixed

If the oppertunity came, I would consider trading Kesler for Ovechkin, but I would never touch the sedins :D

But then again, I am not a HUGE Kesler fan :D
