stonecoldchilled Posted December 5, 2009 Share Posted December 5, 2009 Has anyone read Only in Whistler: Tales of a Mountain town yet? If so..let's discuss. It's a pretty good read. It's about what Whistler was like, mostly in the Seventies, and Eighties, before what it is like today. I think I will never look at Whistler the same way again! It's pretty cool how the ski bums lived up there pre resort times and some of the things they did were really cool. It gave me a whole new respect for the town. I'm glad I had the opportunity to read it before the Olympics. Here's a link to the review on my blog... this is the same book that BC Ferries banned from the gift shops because of the racy cover - haha!
