What can I say? I'm cheap :P

Even that Bourdon/Bieksa card...I only shelled out 10 bucks for it. I have no idea why people didn't bid on it. I remember really wanting it that card, but every time the bid would go way over my budget until that particular auction came along. Oh well :)

There is so many of that particular card, mine is graded a 10, and it is worth 15$ max and that's pushing it. That one is for 80$ because it is a 25 card lot.

My best card is probably a Mario Lemieux All-Star Jersey Card /8. This probably got me into cards, as i picked it up a pack of cards at a dollar store....for a dollar. I never knew i was going to get this out of it, wish i bought more.

I have autograph cards of Matt Duchene, Yann Sauve, Michael Grabner, Cody Hodgson. Then, auto bure, luongo, naslund, and some other crap. Have some jersey cards but they aren't worth much.

I realized a year ago that it was cheaper to just buy the card on ebay. Buying packs are fun but not worth it. I've bought the expensive packs, like 15 dollar per pack and probably my best pull from that was a Chris Mason autograph. In comparison, i bought the Hodgson card just before he was drafted, so it was around 5 dollars. So the packs obviously wasn't worth it. Boxes are too expensive for me, but when i get older and still like this stuff, i'd consider trying it.

My latest card is something like this;
http://cgi.ebay.ca/M...=item414da7ed0a

Saw some autograph Erik Gudbranson, Brandon Gormley, and John Mcfarland cards go for 3 dollars, plus an extra 2 for shipping. Same sort of deal i got with Hodgson. Now, it's around $30+. Always best, when they aren't drafted yet...and at least gain some hype in something like WJR or something.

I got a couple sedin rookie cards, one with a jersey and one double black diamond. I went through my old cards this past summer and I actually have a LOT or rookie cards for a bunch of really good players. I never knew they would hit it big :P.

As for memorabilia, I just got my hand signed Henrik Sedin hockey puck in the mail. I have a strong feeling it's going to increase significantly in value. I just wish Henrik had a legible signature :P

Anyways, what is your most prized hockey card? Mine has to be my Alex Ovechkin rookie card, or my Martin Brodeur rookie card!

What do you usually buy? I tend to buy O-Pee-Chee, Black Diamond and the occasional SPx.

Has anyone ever bought any boxes off this website? Victory Trading Cards I'm not to sure if they are legit or not.

My top 5 cards -
Orr rookie
Lemieux rookie x 2
Dryden rookie
Lafleur rookie

I have about 3000 other rookie cards as well as 40,000+ cards
I've been collecting them since 1970

Yeah, Definitely. I gave up on the folders. I realized that those card protectors don't fit in regular card holders. Boxes/Crates. Boxes in Crates..
