152. On his future, he says "I want to stay in Vancouver. I love it, my family loves it. It's a great city; maybe the most beautiful city in North America. The Canucks are a great organization."

ZOMG HE SAID GAYLORD!!1111
Maturity level.....ZERO!!!

I'm being called immature by a guy whose posts are half in capital letters?

You're missing my point. The point is that it's a terrible name for a stadium.

When you call your place the gaylord entertainment center, the first thing that comes to mind is a place where you entertain gaylords.

If I called my place the Jewish entertainment center, whats the first thing that comes to mind? A place where they hold entertainment that has to do with Jewish traditions. Am I right?

I don't see what's wrong about making an opinion about the name of a stadium. Especially when I believe I am correct.

Minor point but Parise was drafted 17th by NJD so Edmonton couldn't have taken him.

Definition of gaylord - "A gaylord, bulk bin, or corrugated pallet box is a pallet size box usually made of triple wall corrugated fiberboard" I'm not sure how you entertain a box but....

The fact that you misinterpret the word gaylord with homosexuals, and that's the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear it makes you immature IMO. There are a lot of famous people with the first or last name "Gaylord" that are not homosexual.
I think you missed my point, and it just shows you have zero class / maturity. Seriously, who calls ????s gaylords anyways?

Sorry your lingo is a little outdated and you're homophobic.
I'm guessing you probably giggle when you here the work caulk as well?

I don't ride with the band, I roll with the team.

I've been a Canuck fan since 2004-05 when the team was going through a huge transition phase, missed the playoffs

I can't believe the Edmonton Oilers picked Marc-Antoine Pouliot ahead of Ryan Kesler or Zach Parise.

That's why they suck. None of these excuses about small market teams or anything wash. Its the scouting.

Web definition for ????: A ???? is an archaic English unit applied to various-sized collections of sticks: The term is now just as likely to be applied to any bundle of sticks, regardless of its proportions.

I agree with you about the "gaylord" remarks and I'm glad you called him on it, but if you're going to play that game... ;)

As for the second bold...I worked in a hardware store for 7 years. It's hard not to giggle when a customer comes in and asks you, straight-faced, where you keep your caulk, tells you he's looking for some black caulk, etc. Immature, I'll admit, but still funny. Other things not to say to the nice man at the hardware store include (all of these are things I've been asked):
- Where do you keep your nuts?
- I'm looking for a [long/big/good/heavy-duty] screw.
- Do you have brass nipples? (A nipple in a hardware context is a type of pipe fitting)
- I need to see your knobs.
- Have you ever had a leak in the back of your toilet?

I believe you can also add the fact taht he does not hate Canadians, just to put a rest to any more potential conflicts.

They always quote my facts/threads word for word. I posted a Gretzky quote on the eve of the playoffs and within 4 hours they were discussing it.

Can't believe I read allllll of that, but it was a good read.

It's so great to see Kesler emerge. When he first began off as an okay player with decent skills to a star player that can play both ways.

i'd probably take out Mason Raymond from there and do the deal, had Brad Richards been a little younger

Because at this point, Brad Richards is still better than Kesler
Schneider does not look like an NHL goalie at the AHL level
Bourdon isn't with us anymore RIP

Actually at this point Brad Richards is a better playmaker than Kesler and has a slightly harder slapshot. Kesler absolutely dominates Richards in every other facet of the game. I'm not connected to the league or anything but I would all but guarantee that 30 GMs and coaches would take Kesler over Richards anyday.

The only guy who would agree with you is Ron MacLean.

Very inspirational read...

I'm 13 and I've been diagnosed with Osgood-Schlatter's. It's been very difficult to play hockey and lacrosse with the knee condition. Kesler's definitely one of my favourite Canucks now.

IMO the green men should accentuate their bulge so the opposing team is not only humiliated but intimidated.
