Which was the great point that the episode raised. The episode itself 'raised the bar' by lowering the bar by pointing out the symptoms of a sick society that allows for crap like Honey-Boo-Boo to be put on The Knowledge Network of all effing places, with the insertion of Fatty Doo-Doo.

It's true though, I look around on tv and see PawnStars on the History Channel, and wonder wtf that crap has to do with history. I remember when the History Channel had brilliant documentaries and specials that taught some actual history. Now it's filled with shows like Ancient Aliens......aliens ffs!

Anyways, it was a solid episode, with an 'on the mark' social commentary.

We should all be James Cameron.

Absolutely agree, this is why I rarely watch television anymore. Nat Geo is another one I'd like to add to that ... "American Gypsy's, Family Guns".. Just terrible.

Clearly the world is ending at the end of 2012. A Korean bombing a math test? Unheard of!

James Cameron doesn't do what James Cameron does for James Cameron. James Cameron does what James Cameron does because he is James Cameron.

'South Park' Lawsuit: Creators Sued Over Use Of Lollipop King In 'Imaginationland'

Lollipops are meant to remain wholesome.

This according to Exavier Wardlaw, creator of the children's show "The Lollipop Forest," who slapped Matt Stone and Trey Parker of "South Park" with a lawsuit claiming the show ripped off his lollipop character and defiled it.

TMZ obtained the details of the copyright infringement lawsuit against "South Park" filed by Wardlaw. The lawsuit alleges that the "South Park" character Lollipop King is a hack version of Wardlaw's "Lollipop Forest" character Big Bad Lollipop. Wardlaw claims that his wholesome show was defiled when his character was exposed to "unwholesome language and sexual innuendo."

Three episodes of "South Park" from 2007, entitled "Imaginationland," featured Lollipop King and showed the candy being choked by a Storm Trooper, witnessing a suicide bombing and watching Kyle and Cartman engage in oral sex, TMZ notes. Still, "Imaginationland" scored an Emmy in 2008 for Outstanding Animated Program for a show one hour or more.

Wardlaw was seemingly unimpressed.

"The 'South Park' television show and its producers, directors and writers disregarded the public copyright notice and appropriated 'The Lollipop Forest' for financial gain, without permission or attribution of authorship or compensation for use," the "South Park" lawsuit reads, according to The Wrap. "The 'South Park' television broadcast diminished/tarnished the value of 'The Lollipop Forest' as a wholesome family show by association within the context of unwholesome language and sexual innuendo."

Wardlaw wants all references to "The Lollipop Forest" and the characters derived from it to be removed from the three episodes.

This is not the first time "South Park" has faced legal woes.

Last July, Viacom and Comedy Central were sued by Brownmark Films over claims an episode of "South Park" ripped off the copyrighted music video for "What What (In The Butt)" by singer Samwell, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Brownmark claimed the re-creation was a copyright infringement, but a Wisconsin federal judge said it qualified under "fair use."

Tomorrow's episode:

1611 - Going Native

When Butters starts acting out at school, his parents realize it’s time to tell him why he's not like all of the other kids. He must travel to a foreign place to learn the ways of his people. It will be a difficult trip for a young boy to make alone so Butters chooses Kenny to travel with him to the distant and secluded island of Hawaii.

Butters is awesome.

The one with him as 'Margarine' was one of my favorite all time episodes.

Doctor, with stethoscope on a rib of an exploded pig corpse dressed like Butters "He... didn't make it"

Stephen Stotch, after digging up the same pig to take to the ancient burial ground "Oh Butters, you smell like bacon"

Without Butters, and Randy, the show would take a massive dive.

I wish they would use Officer Yates more. Best and most underrated side character. Just so creepy too! (The redhead cop for those whodon't know).

Just watch the episode where he goes undercover as a hooker.

Yikes. Tonight's episode had some chuckles, but not very good at all. The cruise scene was great though.

Agreed.
Though it may just seem that way since it was following some pretty tough competition. The last few episodes were gold.

Yup, not good at all. Cruise scene was good, and Kenny's voice (just Trey Parker regular voice) when writing his letters was pretty humerous. Elvis' ghost was sort of good as well. But otherwise, pretty weak.

Didn't care for last nights episode as much. I find I don't like them as much when I don't have a full grip on the joke they are trying to put across...

Never been to Hawaii. Are there visitors there who act like they are "natives" and are so special?!?

Dang, was looking for someone to explain the whole native joke to me, I was in Hawaii in late 2009 and never experienced anything like the people portrayed in the episode.

Is she a dress wearer or a pants wearer? Could you share a rowboat? Could a rowboat support her? Would an average size rowboat support her without capsizing?

it has to do with the actual natives of hawaii having a serious problem with tourists. Then they played off it with non-natives settling there and taking the same stance.
