avelanch
yale scored, biega screening the goalie in front, mcnally not on the ice. and now yale scres again, mcnally on the ice this time, mcnally stick checked the player coming in, puck drops back to yales leading scorer who snipes it top corner, not much anyone could do much of that. avelanch
looks like biega plays half of his shifts with ford, and not mcnally.
avelanch
2-1 yale at the end of the first.
avelanch
harvard ties it up and now they go the PP!
avelanch
apparently biega and mcnally only play together on the PP which is why they always seem to switch sides (because one is coming off and the other will be coming on, so they get half a shift. avelanch
mcnally with a good defensive play twice in a row, one he stepped in front of his player and transitioned into a odd man rush going the other way (milbury compared him to lidstrom on that play) and then he cleared the puck from in front of the net. avelanch
hmm mcnaly with some good positioning, but was striped of the puck a couple times too. he needs to learn to use his body a bit more. so many opportunities to separate his man from the puck with a big check and he tries the poke check instead. that's definitely an area for him to work on. avelanch
man, the puck is bouncing something fierce all game long. harvard scores on the PP! McNally on the ice, but 1 pass away from getting an assist. 10 min left in the game.
avelanch
yale scores and ties it up, mcnally fails to clear (slipped off the toe of his stick right to a yale player who rifled it home... he really needs to work on clearing the puck.) Canvoucer Vanuck
left handed shot, so I'm assuming the left side, espescially since his d-partner (biega) is a right handed shot. hmm biega and mcnally tend to switch sides a lot, half of their shifts are on their opposite sides, so i guess mcnally COULD play on the right side if needed. good to know. Good to know, thanks!

Joel Heyman
Definitely an offensive D-man. As previously stated Milbury compared him to Lidstrom. He also has defensive instincts too though, so he isn't all offense, like Connauton used to be.
