avelanch
McNally played in both games this weekend. Harvard lost both games (4-0 and 2-1) and their season is officially over. McNally had no points and was even in both games. Beattie did not play for Yale.

22sedins33
Can college players come play in Utica after their season is over? They can but if they do they forfeit their eligibility to ever play NCAA again. It is unlikely that he will this year.
Fred65
Nope, they cannot accept any payment for their game...be it food allowance or travel arrangements. Either he comes out and turns pro or he hangs in at Harvard
Ossi Vaananen
I don't even think he'd make the comets - after all we felt deep enough to trade Mullen for scraps, I highly doubt an average NCAA defenseman can crack the team. Conversely I think Hutton could turn pro without a hitch.

VegasCanuck
I think he can stay in there for one more year and then its decision time? Feel free to contradict me if I'm wrong.
wshdrvvn
yeah, next season will be his last year of NCAA eligibility.
avelanch
no, he has 2 more years of ncaa eligibility. The reason he sat out those games at the beginning of the season was so he would still qualify for 2 more years. he could have started at the beginning of the season (since he was already enrolled in school) but sat out so he could retain his sophomore status with the NCAA
avelanch
this was a real disappointment of a season for Patrick, 1G 7A and -5 with 36 shots in 20 games.... and his only goal was a short handed empty net goal.

Then he goes pointless (and -5) over his final 9 games played.Wondering what happened with him?

Fred65
My word when you look at Harvards success or lack of...makes you wonder if McNally is playing in the right place to progress as a hockey player....looks like he needs a fresh start. http://www.hockeydb.com/scoreboard/ Only 22 games and even worse only 6 wins my my
