So I'm thinking of getting a Blackberry Curve with Fido.

Can you guys give me info on the phone itself and the types of plans I can get with Fido.

I don't want to spend a lot of money so hopefully prices are low.

The phone itself is very cool. It'll take time to get use to but it'll be very smooth once you have it.

The plans I know of right now is 35$/month for City Fido with a 35$ activation fee.

Depends, If you want to buy the phone or sign a term, either way you're going to be spending a lot of money because with a smart phone/term you have to get a data plan, I would stay away from blackberry, something is going to happen with them very soon.

I was reading on the website that they pay the activation fee for you. That deal most likely includes the Blackberry too right?

So you can't get a $20/month plan for the Blackberry?

Ironic that you're going towards Fido, yet your username fully supports Rogers ;)

From what I understand, in order to get the curve from Fido, you must get the 35$ (or higher) plan in order to receive it. BBM comes free with it, so that's a plus!

You do know that Fido is owned by Rogers, right?

Regardless of what carrier you choose, a Blackberry with any sort of data plan (web surfing etc etc etc) will run you about $55 before taxes.

How do you upload videos to Facebook from a Blackberry Bold 9780?

There is no option to do it, just for photos.

I think you have to do it this way:

How do I upload mobile photos/notes/videos from my phone?

You can use your personalized upload email address to email a photo/video from your mobile phone. The uploaded content will then appear in your Mobile Uploads album. Since this is your personal email address, which will send content directly onto your Facebook account, be sure not to share it with anyone else.

The email subject will be used as the caption of your photo or video, or your updated status if your email contains no photo or video. Note that photos and videos uploaded via email are visible to everyone by default, but you can change the privacy setting of any photo album by going to your Photos page and clicking "Album Privacy."

To see what your personalized upload email is, be sure you are logged into your account, then go to the Facebook Mobile page.

Does anybody have any apps to reccommend? :)

Okay well I tried to attach the video onto an email but the file is too big. Do I have to put it on my computer and convert it or something?

I've heard you can MMS your video to Facebook as well.

Browse www.facebook.com/mobile/

Log in to your account.

Find the "upload via email" click "Send my upload email to me now"

Save your email address to your contacts / phonebook your Blackberry.

Send MMS video from the Blackberry handheld to that email (given up)

Hey everyone,

I wanted to get a blackberry and on the Fido website it says $25 for unlimited texting, which is what I wanted. My question is, can i use a blackberry with this plan? Or do I NEED a data plan. I dont really need the internet but I still want the wi-fi. Can anyone clarify this? Thanks.
