RogersArena
So I'm thinking of getting a Blackberry Curve with Fido. Can you guys give me info on the phone itself and the types of plans I can get with Fido. I don't want to spend a lot of money so hopefully prices are low. It'll take time to get use to but it'll be very smooth once you have it. The plans I know of right now is 35$/month for City Fido with a 35$ activation fee. nux4lyfe
Depends, If you want to buy the phone or sign a term, either way you're going to be spending a lot of money because with a smart phone/term you have to get a data plan, I would stay away from blackberry, something is going to happen with them very soon. That deal most likely includes the Blackberry too right? So you can't get a $20/month plan for the Blackberry?

trek
In addition to the normal voice plan, you'll need a BIS data plan. Check here under "Addons for Blackberry" if you want to surf the net, you'll need to add the $25 addon at least. http://www.fido.ca/web/page/portal/Fido/Smartphones#blackberry
MillerGenuineDraft
Ironic that you're going towards Fido, yet your username fully supports Rogers From what I understand, in order to get the curve from Fido, you must get the 35$ (or higher) plan in order to receive it. BBM comes free with it, so that's a plus!

Regardless of what carrier you choose, a Blackberry with any sort of data plan (web surfing etc etc etc) will run you about $55 before taxes. You can use your personalized upload email address to email a photo/video from your mobile phone. The uploaded content will then appear in your Mobile Uploads album. Since this is your personal email address, which will send content directly onto your Facebook account, be sure not to share it with anyone else. The email subject will be used as the caption of your photo or video, or your updated status if your email contains no photo or video. Note that photos and videos uploaded via email are visible to everyone by default, but you can change the privacy setting of any photo album by going to your Photos page and clicking "Album Privacy." Find the "upload via email" click "Send my upload email to me now" Save your email address to your contacts / phonebook your Blackberry. Send MMS video from the Blackberry handheld to that email (given up) http://blackberry-rim-phone.blogspot.com/2011/05/how-to-upload-video-from-blackberry-to.html
