Good ol Cowan, not sure but I think Don Taylor came up with the Brabarian. I remember when Laraque chowed him too, he looked like a man possessed hahahaha until BOOM. And BGL looked like a refrigerator on castors (double hahahaha) Poor guy, I cant recall but I think Cowan potted a couple tallies in the playoffs too right?

NICE goal and even a better play and pass!!!! say what you want about jeff but that guy had BALLS!!! LOL

Was great to see bottom 6 chip in for goals, makes a huge difference which is why im excited about 3rd line this yr doing more of it (hopefully) and if the 4th line does it's job and D plays well and still healthy as it should be (crosses fingers)

and of course louie plays better (rested for a change)

He scored the game winner O.T. of game #1 versus Anaheim. I remember that so clearly because I was driving down to Seattle with a group of people in a van. We stopped at an Applebees for dinner and we made them put the game on. Tried stayin as long as we could to see the whole game but then it went into O.T. Found it on the van's radio station... And boom! Brabarian scored the winner and the van erupted with cheers. Good times for sure.

Oh man...I've been ripping Bullis quite a bit on these boards lately, even suggesting his name when talking about the worst Canucks of all time...then I see a clip like this. What a beauty play he made there...

Well there's that, he also had that hit on Jack Johnson and I remember him doing a nice spin o rama on the boards before feeding it off to the twins for a goal. Don Taylor called it the "Bulisian Spin-O-Rama"

my Cowan memory involves a preseason game the following year. my gf at the time and i got 1st row seats right beside the bench. he "noticed" her during warmup and continued smiling and gawking during every commercial break leg stretch. even going so far as to wink at me when i jokingly shook my finger at him. he was forever known as "mooney eyes" after that.

"Screw that, Willie, I'm not touching it, either. Gimme your stick for a minute."

A memorable Larscheidism from Game 2 against Anaheim: "Get your bras ready girls! The Canucks have tied the series at one game apiece! And it's the Brabarian who does it again!"

Watching the higlights for that one. What a save by Louy on the first Anahiem goal. He was hung out to dry after though.

He even gets beaten up in french. This guy was like the Canucks version of 'Glass Joe', 1-99. I got to admit that whole 'Bra-barian' thing was awesome.
