Eddie made 31/33 saves last night.

Unfortunately let in both the first 2 shootout goals.

The first one he could have stopper but the second was a nice deke.

Lack was definitely in beast mode tonight.

He made half a dozen spectacular saves in the third to maintain the Wolves 2-0 lead

1st star of the night too! :)

Personally I feel Eddie Lack is ready for the NHL. He just needs a couple of games and he'll get comfortable. He has already dominated the AHL.

I think he is NHL ready. He also played a year in the SEL and three years in Swe-1. So much potential, could be as good as Lu and Schneids. Random fact: the year after Belfour was the starter for the Panthers he backed up a 19 year old Eddie Lack in Sweden.

35 saves tonight for a shutout.

Got the win in regulation despite the Wolves scoring only 2 goals.

The "best goalie in the AHL" tag TSN has been preaching is coming true.

Where do you think Lack would go in the draft if people knew he would turn out like this?

:bigblush:

seriously though, he always looks like he's having the best day of his life, no matter the situation.

had a great game again tonight, stopped 33 of 34 shots for the win. he's 12th in GAA and 10 in Sv% in the AHL, and that's with a wolves team that's been struggling to find their identity and has been severely outshot.

A man-crush? Weeeeeeell... maybe just a little. Posted Image His enthusiasm really is infectious though, and it's the perfect demeanour for a goalie. As good as Luongo is himself, he could learn a lesson here from Lack on having that frame of mind to not let bad goals affect him so much. I honestly feel he'd be so much better for it. This coming from a Luongo supporter.

His numbers are down slightly because the team in front of him is less defensively responsible compared to the Noel coached Moose from last season. Night's like last, are just another example of Lack's capability to win a game on his own. Vancouver boasts one of the deepest pools of goaltenders in the league

Luongo

Schnieder
Lack
Cannata
Honzik
Iilahti

Real potential for at least 3 of those guys to be starters in the NHL one day

I think Honzik has the ability to be starter, he has great crease-moving ability, and has a good frame.

I think he'll be a really solid backup in the NHL, there hasn't been the consistency to show he has started potential.

He was consistent last year, but it's been harder for him to get on a roll this season because they've been splitting time evenly between him and Climie who's also played really well.

Happy belated birthday to Lack, he turned 24 2 days ago.
2.53 GAA with 0.919 save % on the season, slightly worse than last season, but on the rise after the team's slow start.

2.31GAA with a 0.926 save% on the season, his SV% is now the same as last season, and his GAA is getting closer. he's really turned it around despite a weaker team performance in front of him.

Lies. He's more of a Steve Bernier. Hopefully his talent level goes up so he can become like a Taylor Pyatt.

I have a really good feeling about Lack and think he will be a #1 goalie in the NHL someday which is great because i hate like hell we have to trade Schneider.

So will Lack get a call up for the playoffs? Barring injury I think it is a smart move to do so.

lack won't be called up unless there is an injury, it would make no sense. maybe if the wolves end their playoffs early he will, but he won't dress.
