Haven't had time chance to use the M320 after the patch (I'm rocking with the med kit in TDM), but I think a lot has changed as far as explsovies are concerned. For instance, I've recently realized that they've nerfed the trajectory of the RPG/SMAW, making them drop faster than before.

I'm starting to like the MP7 too. I think it is one of the best one-on-one weapons in close quarters.

I'm so glad the TV missile isn't a ohk anymore. I admittedly used and abused it. Tank armor is a little better now too with that latest server patch.

Started using the KH2002 today, it's great with the 3.4 scope and heavy barrel. I was counter sniping snipers with it on Op.Firestorm TDM earlier.

Cool I think I am going to work on my AS VAL today and see how it goes but I completely agree the MP7 is ridiculous in close range it just fires so fast and steady so once you get the ext. mags it just doesn't stop.

On a side note every time in the last 2-3 days that I seem to turn on my BF3 it says I have just unlocked the B2K maps and other stuff that came out with the game and resets every single one of my kits and all the mods on my guns.  It isn't an insanely big deal except that it happened 3 times yesterday and once already today so it is getting pretty irritating and leading to a lot of lost lives because I'll have like a scope on my assault rifle or something stupid and going in and resetting all my weapons like they were previously isn't an option because it will just wipe all my work out as soon as I turn it off.  It literally kicked me out of an existing game yesterday to tell me that "some of my xbox live features can't be used but I can still play online" but it interupting my game to do that, because it is BF3, kicked me all the way to the dashboard and when I restarted it wiped all of my kits again.  Suffice it to say I'm getting a wee bit frustrated at this point so is there anyway to file a complaint or something?

"some of my xbox live features can't be used but I can still play online"

I had another thought for you nighthawk. Run a network connection test. See if your NAT type is set too strict or Moderate. Have you had trouble party chat or joining a game at times? That could be a symptom of a NAT issue. Try deleting your cache and do the connection test to verify a pssoble NAT issue.

If you need further help, post here if this solution doesn't work for you. A few other things to check: What internet connection are you using? (DSL/Cable?) Are you using a wireless connection to the internet? Is there more than one person using the internet at the time you are online? If there is, Packet loss would be a contributing factor to you getting disconnected but that wouldn’t' account for the "some of my xbox live features can't be used but I can still play online" unless it is a default response from the server in the event of connection loss.

Some more tips: If you are using a DSL or Cable modem, The modem should be directly plugged into the wall. if not, Attenuation (noise) can occur degrading your connection. The same with your xbox, this should also be plugged directly into the wall socket and not into a power bar.

Good luck! Hope it works out for you!

My friend did exactly that to my xbox last week but thank you for the help anyways. And does it really make that big of a difference to have both modem and xbox360 plugged into the wall?

It really does mate. Both for different reasons. I'll start with the xbox. The xbox has it's own built in power serge protection. If you plug your xbox into a power bar, you lose power to your console (Not full, just partial). This is hard on your xbox. (Google search the reference on this) Check your xbox manual, this is where I found the info pertaining to plugging your xbox directly into the wall and not into a power bar.

As for your modem, This can create noise (Attenuation) in your connection. This can cause infrequent or frequent disconnection problems. Modems often come with built in surge protection as well (Check your manual and or your ISP for details.

I found this out due to issues I was having with frequent disconnection’s. My ISP (Shaw) directed me to plug my modem directly into the wall. (I’m not sure if some modems out there don’t have built in protection, this should be verified by the salesperson you bought your modem/router from or your ISP.

For wireless modems- electrical or magnetic interference will be problematic. I believe this will stop or alter packet (data) flow. Basically your bandwidth (upload and down load speeds) are reduced. Other things I found that can limit this are RF signals. Specifically, a cordless phone that operates on 2.4 hz. It’s best to buy a new phone @ 6gz where it should degrade your wireless transmission. Your modem/router cannot transmit through metal objects or water. (Water shouldn’t be an issue  ) Mirrors in line of sight of your wireless can deflect/degrade your signal.

Keep in mind, I am not a network specialist, I am passing on information based on past experience.

Another thing I found out is (referring to Cable network connection), use the cable supplied by your provider. Specialized cables are used to maximize bandwidth limiting packet loss. If you for instance buy a long length of cable in order to move your modem out to a specific location or use one you have laying around the house; the cable not be suited for data transfer. Cable for your TV has several cords in the line. Cable for your Internet has I believe 4 to maximize packets (data) limiting packet loss.

That pretty much covers most issues I have encountered. Hope this helps you out. Again, I am not network specialist, I am basing this all on issues I have run into over the years. Another thing to consider re: wireless and the reason I am posting this is, I noticed a few people in my neighborhood showing up on my list of wireless connections availability. (None with passwords) Not good! For both security and bandwidth reasons. Verity your connection is secure.

One further step is to use a free download called something to the effect of “wireless channel scanner”. You can find out what channel people are using in your neighborhood. Change your router from auto channel scan to a channel nobody is using. This made a significant improvement for me. Specially when using cable and shared nodes.

They should remake Kubra Dam, Mashtuur City, FuShe Pass and Operation Clean Sweep.

Im kinda digging the CQB stuff they have going on. I just hope it doesn't end up being a trend for all of the DLC

Recording your gameplay and then rewatching it is a great way to improve your game. I've noticed a lot of the little things that I do that gets me killed and have now improved a bit.

I'm generally better at close quarters games.

Might get it. I'm gonna start playing again after exams are over and done with and the stress levels are down.

Just got this game the other day and I'm absolutely loving it. Only problem for me are the jets. Every time I lift off in one, there seems so be an enemy just waiting to take me out with theirs.
