Now that thats clear, and half of you wont even read that sentence and go "why are you bashing Hamhuis" (And now that I said that another 5-10 of you will say it just to be funny )
Has anyone noticed that Hamhuis looks absolutely terrified to go into the corners? I mean, it's expected from a guy who experienced such a brutal hit from Getzlaf to get a little scared putting himself into the same position, but after his whole "one more concussion and im out" interview, he looks like he's been trying to utilize the poke check behind the net much more than he used to, where he used to take the hit a lot more.
It wasn't SO evident after he returned from the concussion, but after that brutal hit from behind a couple games back on Hamhuis from Ponikarovsky, its been much more evident that when hes going into the corners hes angling himself behind the other guy or trying to get the pokecheck in rather than take the body or put himself in a potential spot to take the hit.
Once again, it's expected, but it's just a slight observation. I've noticed it a lot this game, and if you were to pay attention to him you'd notice it too, just hope it doesnt end up costing us.
Do you think it will probably take a while for him to gain confidence over there and not be haunted by demons, or am I just over-analyzing?
