I'll just keep plugging away the numbers for the GA watch. Thx for playing, CDC.
-- March 31 --
I think now that the President's Trophy has been locked up, the classy thing for the organization to do is to start Schneider for at least three of the four remaining games of the season. That would bump him up for the requisite 25 games to be recognized with Luongo if Canucks lock this one up too.
The major downside I can see to this is potentially cooling down Luongo at the start of the first round. Would giving Schneider that trophy recognition be worth it for the team? Playing Schneider down the stretch may not even guarantee the Jennings... (and yet the same can be said for Luongo)
It's known by all the Canucks - from GM down to the coaches, players, and fans - that Luongo's great season has been bolstered by having a capable and reliable backup all season long. A backup that fans have been crying for seasons in a so-called "goalie graveyard"...
I'll hope we can have an intelligent discussion without bashing or flames on this. But we are on CDC...
EDIT: added poll, been spelling SCHNEIDER wrong majority of time..
EDIT2: now with 100% more tracking of teams "on the bubble"
EDIT3: will stop tracking teams that are beyond: (Team GAA+1) * games remaining. Poll will remain after final games played, just for gits and shiggles
