Now to get back to topic, is it just me or has Malhotra's absence been like 'meh, nothing to worry about' lately? Mike Gillis has created the most destructive force in the NHL, and it shows as one of our key pieces we got mainly for the post-season (Malhotra), is gone, and yet, we are still finding ways to win.
Mike Gillis has bought tons of depth into our line-up, and every bit of credit should go towards him! When Malhotra was gone and news was out that he wouldn't be able to come back, mine and I'm guessing many other Canucks fans hopes for Lord Stanley shrank; But daaamn, I take that back! Lappy has been getting it done, and it has bought back confidence in all of us!
With the way things are going right now, hopefully, it'll carry into the post-season and we will be the most successful team in the NHL. Here's what I'm trying to get at: We can win without Malhotra, its just how great our team has developed into - If players fall down, Others will step up and take the challenge lying ahead of them!
I'm not saying its a good thing Malhotra's gone, I'm saying that we are still finding ways to getting it done without him and that its amazing.
GO CANUCKS GO, THIS IS OUR YEAAARRRR!!!!!!!!!!!
