HOW IN THE HELL DO YOU GIVE AWAY A GOAL IN GAME 7 WITH TWO MINUTES LEFT ... ON THE FREAAAAAAKING POWER PLAY. FRACK BURROWS. FRACK AV, WTF.
- I was so upset by this point that really I didn't even care if we won. Potentially giving away the series with a stupid selfish mistake is just unbelievable. The only thing that made me jump out of my seat was that Burrows actually got it and basically wrapped the game up in a little nutshell. Before that I was prepared win or lose to just turn the TV off and go to bed.
Having said that Burrows played great on a line with Kesler and added something that the Canucks were missing. A Bufuglien type character. Someone that can bring a little something outside-the-box to the game when all other things appear equal.
I wouldn't bench him but I'd make him skate laps by himself today for sure.
BURROWS MISSES A PS TO SEAL IT - which he never should have taken while being hurt, tired, and adrenalized
BURROWS GIVES CHICAGO A GOAL WITH 1:56 LEFT TO PLAY IN IN GAME 7 OF EASILY THE CANUCKS BIGGEST GAME IN 15 YEARS
BURROWS GIVES CHICAGO A PP IN OT IN AN ATTEMPT TO GIVE CHICAGO THE SERIES
BURROWS SCORES OT WINNER
The silver lining is maybe that was a stroke of luck we needed to be lucky here on through.
Don't get me wrong I'm ecstatic that we are still playing and I would have celebrated with those 6 extra beers no matter who scored.
BURROWS ... YEAH WE REALLY NEED HIM ... but I'm still shaking my head.
