How as Lack been recently? Will he be ready to back Lu Schneider up next season?

Fixed that for ya.

What would you rather have of these two choices:

1. Winning the Stanley Cup once with an inconsistent Luongo
2. Losing every year in the Finals with spectacular performances (including one Conn Smythe win) by Schneider?

Kassian.... Taylor Pyatt 3.0

Lies. He's more of a Steve Bernier. Hopefully his talent level goes up so he can become like a Taylor Pyatt.

Lack with the 1-0 shutout in a shootout. 31 saves.

He's almost back to his numbers from last year, which is great to see.

Oh that should not come as much of a surprise. I like to think of myslef as being intellectually honest, while saving my vitroil for CDC members.

Ok so another game against the hogs.... anybody have a prediction on this one ? Hogs are scuffling again...so I predict a win (for the swine of course).

Special night tonight at Allstate arena.....Baumer plays in his 1000th pro game, Wolves are going to do something to honor him before the game. Hoping that maybe his parents are here tonight for it. Congrats to a pro's pro....always has been nothing short of class to fans.

Wolves lose 3-2 to Hogs in another spirited contest. Sweatt, Miller w/ goals.

Knauts tuned up Froese in the first. Uppercuts. Good to see.

Hogs ended a streak. Their rivalry with the Wolves looks parallel to ours with the Hawks. Bastards everywhere. Cheers.

straight up goonery and a slapshot type performance by a team so far out of playoff contention that they have nothing left to shoot for. And with hawks brass en masse to boot. i bet they feel like they made a good impression...

good fight by Nauts though, bet that dick Froese regrets his decision to drop them first.

got what he deserved.

Solid beating.

I wouldn't even call that a fight because 'fight' implicates that both guys got some shots in. That's a beating :P

Not much of a fight... Froese just got punched in the head a couple times.

Well, if the Hawks are looking for more toughness for their roster, I guess they got what they've been looking for.

Yea, because Froese was drafting specifically for his toughness...

Interesting point brought up in one of the Eklund rumour threads, but it looks like Archibald and Ellington have both been recalled from the ECHL to the Wolves. Is this just a roster move to make sure they can include them in their clear day roster? The other thing that would come to mind is if there are actually injuries or players are on the move elsewhere.

Ellington has been doing well in the ECHL from what I understand but don't know how well Archibald has been doing after he was sent down earlier in the year.

EDIT: looks like there are some injures, minor or not, as both Archibald and Ellington were set to play right away.

Jason Shaver, the Wolves play by play guy, put out a couple of tweets that make sense of it all:

Wolves call Darren Archibald who scored the 1st goal of the season for Chicago and defenseman Taylor Ellington. The injury bug has hit hard

Last night the Wolves had 6 players out with injuries Parent, Friesen, Duco, Doell, Schneider & Oreskovich. Erixon left the game hurt in 2nd

More on the recall:

The Vancouver Canucks have reassigned left wing Darren Archibald and defenseman Taylor Ellington from the ECHL’s Kalamazoo Wings to the Chicago Wolves.

ARCHIBALD has posted 21 assists and 30 points in 36 games with Kalamazoo during his professional debut this season. He also skated in 18 games with the Wolves this year, notching one goal and 6 penalty minutes.
...
ELLINGTON ranks third among K-Wings defensemen with 15 assists and 22 points in 55 outings this year.
...
ARCHIBALD and ELLINGTON will join the Wolves when they visit the Rockford IceHogs for an Illinois Lottery Cup matchup at 5 p.m. tonight.

Trade perhaps in the works that would involve couple of our prospects in the AHL being moved?

They have injuries to several players on the Wolves and needed the manpower.

From my post in the ongoing Wolves thread:
