Champions of Nothing
And the 140,000 real fans left already. So, lets say, 100 assholes, 10,000 people standing around taking pictures looking, not doing any rioting at all.
Justin.
The fatalities are unconfirmed so far on Twitter.
Champions of Nothing
What the hell does that have to do with the rioting? Also, what is so bad about wearing an away jersey during a home game? Not everyone has $400 to spend on some jerseys.

silverpig
1 retard lights a match, 300 people stand around and take pictures with their phones, and suddenly canucks fans are terrible people. dear media. way to generalize.
hsedin33
How stupid can you be to burn and break other people's property, and attack other human beings because of a hockey game? It doesn't matter what jersey you're wearing.

Venusius
Once the embarrassing rioting has ended in Vancouver let's all show the world what Vancouver is really about by helping rebuild and clean up so it is better than it was before. If any city can bounce back from an embarrassment like this it is Vancouver! Invite all of your friends! Let's see if we can get Vancouver looking like a new city by noon Thursday! Things you will need: Gloves Garbage bags Friends and family Music? Smiles and Canucks spirit General idea is to meet at Granville and Robson around 7:00 AM and then spread out from there. Police may not be ready to have people re enter the city - worried about continued looting etc. so lets start tentatively at noon. It is very possible that will be postponed. I'm sure this group of people will be completely respectful and follow the orders of any officers. DonLever
The City and Police clearly was not prepared since newspaper boxes were not taken off the street. These boxes were used as projectiles.

Weber's Playoff Beard
It's no surprise. 10 minutes before the game had ended.. dozens of police were all over the Bay front windows (bay was still open for heavens sake) and the other stores around Pacific Centre. They knew this was going to happen. The reaction by police was slow, like always.
