they do, it's just harder to get (it has to directly contribute to the goal; a dump in will not get you a second assist.)

Thats what the NHL should do

With 7 pts (5g, 2a) in 10 games, Nicklas is leading all U20 players in the Elite league in scoring. He has 3 more points than the 2nd best scorer (William Karlsson, 0g, 4a) and 4 more points than the 3rd best scorer, Heralded Oilers' prospect Oscar Klefbom, who has 3 assists in 10 games. He is also outscoring Sebastian Collberg a 2nd round Habs' pick 7-to-1 while having played 1 less game (Some scouts had Collberg going 10-20 in the draft).

He's had an amazing start to the season and if he can keep it up, I think he'll go flying up everyone's prospect rankings and might even make the Canucks as a 3rd liner next year!

AIK lost 4-0. Do not see Jensen on the stats sheet, so pretty sure he did not play,

Hah, I just came in here hoping someone would say he had the flu. And here it is.

Thanks for that, I was hoping he wasn't injured.

Oh I know, I just find it funny because some Oilers fan over on HF was just trashing Canucks prospects by saying we have noone who even comes close to Klefbom.

Why do we need a prospect that comes close to Klefbom?

Our top 4 is better than any defenceman they have.

Until he makes the NHL, all the hype means nothing.

I don't think that's really true a healthy Whitney is top 2 on our team. Garrison might not excel with us much like Ballard hopefully this isn't the case but say it is. I'd take Petry n. Shultz, or even smid over Ballard or Tanev in the top 4

Whitney can't stay healthy though, that's the problem. His days of putting up 40+ points are long gone.

Even if Garrison isn't an offensive juggernaught, his defensive skills are what makes him a great defender. I'm not too worried about him being a great fit on our team.

I'd take Petry, Smid, Schultz over Ballard, maybe not Tanev. But neither of those guys are in our top 4 anyways, so it isn't really relevant.

That would be a good purchase.

At the rate he's going over in the SEL, I don't see how they don't give him a serious look this season.

I wonder if he'd keep #46 or if he'd take a new one. Maybe 71 like I proposed about 30 pages ago :bigblush:

I think Jensen might be a canuck for life... MG loves him AV actually likes him (only prospect AV likes) and the fans love him! he has the chance to be the greatest dane to play the game and i seriously think he is forever a canuck and he really has become one of my favorite canucks already. His fast growth has really helped ease the pain of losing Hodgson. If MG does in fact get Bjugstad then we would have a line of Jensen Bjugstad Kassian and that would make trading hodgson be worth it.

i actually like 46. and honestly he kind of looks like a 46... you know in the way Naslund looked like a 19, for some players a certain number just looks like their number
