Damn straight!

Well, either that or we break his legs.

A shortened season might be a great time to slot him into the NHL. He will have been playing high level hockey for a couple of months already and a lot of the NHL vets will be spending the first month or two getting into real game shape.

It could help even the playing field and ease his transition.

I don't see us getting a top 6 player in the Luongo deal, so we do have limited options. I don't want to have our only choice to be Raymond because there is a real possibility he will never be a 2nd line player again.

To be fair klefbom is a dman

So to put it in NHL perspective, if Klefbom were a 35 point D-man, that would make Jensen a point a game player over a full NHL season if the ratio for those two held true. The sample size is still much too small, but it's at least some perspective on how they compare.

The key difference is that Sopel can fill in for Seabrook and Campbell just fine. Bieksa, he is garbage so in that sense he is like the worst defenseman in the league.

When Cody (Hodgson) gets older, he might be better than Datsyuk.

Let's not push this guy (Kassian). He's still immature, and if he fails on the 2nd line it's because he isn't ready. Some guys really need years to develop, it's how well and how fast players adapt to the game. In my opinion, I'd rather have Horvat getting 2nd line minutes. He will start off on the 3rd line next season but I see him making the transition, being a great compliment to whoever plays his wings.

At this point, I don't see Kassian fitting in to any role other than a 3rd. If players like Kassian start getting 2nd line minutes then we just stay inconsistent as a team.

No points for Jensen today even though one of his linemates scored.

And yet another loss for AIK. They are now officially last in their league.

Good thing he will likely make the team next year, would be pretty pointless if he ends up playing in the Allsvenskan next season.

If he doesn't make the Canucks next year he will be in the AHL. He was to young to play in the AHL this year or he would have. The SEL was 2nd choice.

Oh yeah, I forgot hahaha. Didn't a clause come up for this year that allowed 2011 1st rounders into the AHL? It no longer matters because Jensen was already in Sweden at the time, but it's too bad it wasn't made beforehand :/

No, he played. He was on the second line again.

Almost scored off a nice shot that went off the goalies glove. It just went wide though.

Definitely. But I think he's way better off where he is. He's a star player and his teams leading goal scorer in the SEL.

If he played for Oshawa he would be overshadowed by Boone Jenner.

This will allow him to become his own player, and make a name for himself.
