Bob Singh
CES is becoming a bigger and bigger event with more an more blockbuster information coming out each year. there's a good chance they reveal a lot. Nintendo did say that there will be nothing beyond the demos at E3 2011. But then again, Nintendo could give us another surprise. I wish this show was on a weekend. I will miss it because of school. Heisenberg
If they don't let me transfer all my downloaded game like Mario 1,3, Sonic 1,2,3, and the old Donkey Kongs, Zelda 64 i will not buy this. They must let me transfer the games I don't want to have to use two wii systems.

They probably will let you transfer your account to the Wii U and then you can download it. Maybe you can put them on an SD card and transfer the games. Bob Singh
http://uk.gamespot.c...ex.html?image=1 Looks like Microsoft's joining Sony. No, they aren't turning into one company. Just like Sony always copies Nintendo, the Next box may also have a tablet controller. Let me guess! This impresses everyone that weren't impressed by the Wii U. Just because its Microsoft. Bob Singh
CES 2012 Wii U demos. They are the same as E3. Except one demo. It was at E3, but no one taped it and it was ignored. It is called Panoramic view. Though, it is one of the best features! The above link has all the demos including Panoramic view. The link below has only the Panoramic view. I prefer the top link. And remember the interview of Reggie Fils Aime that was going to come on TV, well here it is. http://www.gametrailers.com/video/ces-2012-nintendo/725599

Bob Singh
OK! So this thread was off the first page after a long time I guess. Lets get on with the goods. All positive news right now. http://www.vg247.com/2012/01/24/eb-games-confirms-600-wii-u-price-tag-purely-speculative/ EB games confirms that the $600 price tag they put on the Wii U was just a speculation and isn't even in the store's system yet. It is just a placeholder. http://www.nowgamer.com/news/1217247/wii_u_getting_need_for_speed_devs_project_cars.html Slightly Mad Studios is reported to have Wii U dev kits. They are working on a Need for Speed project set to release in 2013 for Wii U, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. I guess this shows pretty good third party support so far. And its still in a development stage. http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/01/24/xbox-720-will-be-six-times-as-powerful-as-current-gen Off topic... I'm getting worried. avelanch
ign article says 720 is only going to be 20% more powerful than the wii u, so if that's the case, then the difference will be negligible (especially at this high end of graphics) , and if you go off of that article as well, that makes the 6 times as powerful as the 360 in direct conflict with the first article saying wiiu being only 2 times as powerful (though every time i read about dev systems they keep saying unfinished and underclocked for the wii u, so i guess we won't know what the real power is until right before launch.) Bob Singh
Good news for the Wii U fans, bad for the guys who voted the 720. http://ingame.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/01/26/10243780-the-wii-u-officially-arriving-by-christmas-of-this-year Wii U will launch at the holiday season.(Confirmed) http://www.tomsguide.com/us/Wii-U-Xbox-720-Oban-Radeon-Performance,news-13994.html Xbox 720 will NOT play used games. What? I was excepting more than that . I can see EB Games going bankrupt. http://www.computerandvideogames.com/333520/wii-u-features-have-advanced-since-e3-reveal-ono/ More good news! Wii U will have many more features than shown at E3.

People are going to make alot of fun of Nintendo for that. But what will they call it. It might be called "Stream" that was predicted before it was announced as Wii U. If the online is a fail, Wii U is a a fail. Its true. Online is mostly what we game for. They will most likely call it "Nintendo Network". But I still don't understand what nfc is? Bob Singh
I think this is the best thread about a gaming console in the whole forums. It keeps everyone updated, with the latest news. I feel proud to be a part of it. And a lot of thanks to avelanch for creating this thread. No one could've ever put all that effort and time into this.
