Point-per-game D-man here! wow nice i was actually thinking about how much of an absolute steal this kid was at round 5 whereas torontos 1st round pick just before we took jensen - stuart percy is just, yuck right now - think hes injured but obviously hasnt progressed much at all since the draft while corrado has really improved Id take corrado over percy anyday to be honest canucks scouting > toronto scouting

A skilled right-side d-man in the system to come in a few years from now is just what we need, Bieksa is 30 and will be leaving his prime; he'll be able to teach Corrado the ropes and be a great role model for him. They even have similar attitudes!
Jensen17
Corrado 6 games 4 points and a -2 so happy we picked him.
MoneypuckOverlord
Sudbury is also not a very strong team. All their defencemens were a minus last year. Right now he's listed as 6'2? He really earned his professional contract by Gillis. Job well done, probably one of our best sleeper picks. Christian Ehrhoff style for sure. Joel Heyman
Played Jensen's team the Generals tonight. Wolves won 5-2. Corrado is now at 9 GP 2 G 4 A 6 P 23 PIM 3 +/- He's doing great so far and has the second highest plus/minus on the team, for a defenseman on the Wolves that's great. MoneypuckOverlord
Frankie Corrado is some sort of Beast. HIs team gets scored on 6 times, his team scores 4, but he was still a +3 with 1 goal on the night. He is by far their best defencemen, probably in their best player. LOL it's actually the other way around--his team scored 6 and got scored on 4 times, and his goal came with 40 seconds remaining in the 3rd period when his team was up 5-4, so I'm guessing it was an EN goal. But Frankie has been doing pretty well this season. He's currently 16th in league scoring for defensemen in the OHL with 3G7A10P in 14GP. He leads the team in PIM with 35, is 2nd on team +/- behind Dodero at +7, and is tied for 5th in team scoring (points leader among Sudbury defensemen). MoneypuckOverlord
1 assist and a + 3 for Corrado. This guys is probably the best dman Gillis has drafted. Not only he is very good offensively, but he is by far their best dman. He will shoot up our prospect rankings by March. Extremely impressive season. Master 112
It's great to see him continue to impress like this! I've heard nothing but positive things about him (aside from him getting beat-up by Tinordi ). Corrado is one of the three guys I was really excited about out of the last draft, and he hasn't let me down. :D
Canvoucer Vanuck
I remember being pleasantly surprised at how well he played in preseason. Not a whole lot of strength but not surprising, and it will come. Great to see him doing well.
Joel Heyman
Corrado's at 24 GP, 3 G 13 A 16 P AND +/-11. He is doing great and more than 0.5 PPG.
Trelane42
Not bad. Not to rain on anybody's parade but Rome had two 50+ point seasons in WHL following his draft year. He also brings the physical element which Corrado doesn't have. Still, Frank's +/- looks pretty darn good for someone on a brutal team so the hockey smarts are probably there. Man how can you take Frank Corrado and compare him to Aaron Rome?! That's like comparing David Honzik to Patrick Roy!
Jensen17
He is slowing down not getting as many points a little bit on a slump still making his plus minus better.
Joel Heyman
Corrado at 36 GP 3 G 18 A 21 P 61 PIM 25+/- Who knows how many of those penalties are fighting majors? I like that this shows he is feisty but it's not good if he's nearly penalty per game.
