Allt svartnar
This means a defenseman I thought would be gone before fifth round.
smithers joe
i would think, with no one taking the twin, canucks can still sign him to a contract.....maybe he isn't that good.
CanucksWillWinTheCupOneDay
.. http://www.nhl.com/ice/draftprospectdetail.htm?csid=7HPN3M NHL 10, He is one of the best rookies you could draft.... But, He is a Big Defense man, I think he'll be good down the road...
nurmsook
A lot of bloggers had referred to him pre-draft as the best free agent defenceman in Sweden, so...take it for what it's worth.
RAMBUTANS
Some Swedish poster from HFboards said he is a great pick.
b3.
He has some very respectable numbers this season in the SEL. He signed a one year extension with Frolunda, so we will see him next year.
Number1Pick
I bet the Minny fans screwed Gillis over and instead of picking Benjamin Conz he went with Hank #2, hoping he's another Henrik 7th round Gem
avelanch
Does this mean no twins? i would think, with no one taking the twin, canucks can still sign him to a contract.....maybe he isn't that good. Yeah the canucks were the second last team to draft, and they knew the twin brother was still available, and could be signed immediately following the draft, so they didn't need to waste a pick on him, espescially when there is still another player you don't want to let slip away available. the twin wasn't ranked, and noone will sign him without having his brother. look for the canucks to sign both of them when they sign Pathrik. timberz21
Does this mean no twins? Actually I think all undraft player can be invited to rookie camp or traning camp. When they do so, they are the property of the team inviting him. To keep his right the team has to offer him a contract or else I think he's draft eligible again or UFA (not sure). Anyway we will probably invite him...no point of picking him there was 1 team left picking after us.

BM24
Decent size and sounds like he's a very sound defensive player, with good vision while playing offense as well. All around defencemen, hard to turn up.
