Another day, another shuffle in the Western Conference playoff race...

Edmonton and Winnipeg swap places atop the Northwest Division, as they seem to do on a daily basis lately. Anaheim pulls into 7th in the West, only 2 points up on 8th place Detroit. And 2 points behind the Wings are the Calgary Flames, also hunting for one of the last 2 playoff positions up for grabs.

In the East, it seems as though the Habs have run out of gas and that the top 8 in the East is likely set. All thats left to determine is the playoff seeding.

The Quebec Nordiques prospects have started the quest for the Memorial Cup off with a bang:

Jonathan Huberdeau: 4gp - 2g - 5a - 7pts - +6

Micheal St Croix: 4gp - 2g - 3a - 5pts - +1

Ty Rattie: 4gp - 10g - 3a - 13pts - +10

Charlie Coyle: 4gp - 9g - 4a - 13pts - +13

Coyle and Rattie have been sensational.

Red Wings points:

Scott Hartnell - 2 PIM = 2

Patrick Sharp - 1 goal, +1 = 5

Zach Parise - 1 assist = 3

Dave Bolland - 1 assist, +1 = 5

Total = 15

Not good enough! Flyers score 7, Devils score 6 and I got a total of 8 points from two top players from those teams.

However..... :)

Anaheim Ducks points:

Bozak = 0

Hanzal = 7

Santorelli = 0

Haley = 0

Winchester = 0

Calgary Flames points:

Versteeg = 2

Standings after tonight:

7. Detroit - 4331

8. Calgary - 4324

----------------------

9. Anaheim - 4304
