canuck2xtreme
Good grief.... just went through my prospects to see how their numbers looked last season, and it looks like a lot of players with the Revelstoke Rockets had very strong seasons. Brenden Ranford - 40 goals, 52 assists for 92 points in 69 games. Michael Ferland - a very strong 47-49-96 with a +17 and 84 PIMs Michael Latta - 34 goals, 89 points and 158 PIMs Brenden Gallagher - 41 goals, 77 points to go with a +19 rating and 79 PIMs Michael Bournival - only 41 GPs, but managed 34 goals, 56 points and was +15 Paul Postma - 12 goals, 44 points from the blueline Eric Gelinas - 16-21-37 along with 55 PIMs Scott Harrington - 3-23-26 and a sparkling +26 rating Scott Wedgewood - 28-10-2-1 record with 3 shutouts and a .911 SV% The future looks bright for the Jets! canuck2xtreme
That was his 2010-11 stats oops. Nonetheless, they were his stats, and we're still happy to have him aboard! Last year with Milwaukee, he posted 14 goals, 27 points and 100 PIMs in 51 games. Still better than 0.5 points per game and lots of room to improve. Many young players struggle when they first hit the AHL from junior, but he seems to have done nicely. Not the eye-popping stats from junior, but solid. winterhawks
Question: I could not find the answer on page one. At what time can teams inflate a little beyond their cap hits for the off season, or do we not do that here? I know the NHL allows it as roster shuffles go on over the offseason. Thanks. Squeak
Executives correct me if i'm wrong but its my understanding you are allowed to spend over your cap all offseason but on October 1st (not sure the exact date) all teams must fit under their salary cap and their minor league cap. After that fines are assessed.

Otis
I felt like Michalek and Neil were such key contributors this year in a pretty succesful season. What made you decide to trade them away so quickly after you were eliminated?
