Primal Optimist
its funny that we both have a "3rd" liner on the 2nd spot. further your top scorer is also from Ottawa some of your guys could step up around the season..Briere,Green... Reimer collected 25 points more than Thomas ..i expect more from Tim in November and from Iginla as well. Sturm is still dissapointing and only shines with PIM`s
Brunners
well a lot of people want the simple version of 'who was best last year: i want them'. The real trick is to diagnose who is on the verge of something good and get them. MoneyPuck. I am not saying I am doing that correctly, I am just saying that is the trick to nail down. I am glad that 3 of the 5 top point earners are guys I brought in, but I am also very happy that 2 of the five are legacy players from the previous GM, it helps me to know that Venom did good things for this team, and kept it on track..now I am starting to be curious why he left it? Brunners
My top 5 are: 1. Pekka Rinne - 90 2. Joffrey Lupul - 69 3. Tomas Plekanec - 52 4. Ryan McDonagh - 47 5. Zack Smith - 44 points I didn't include Fedor Tyutin who has a total of 53 on the year because only 33 of those points have been for me, same With Hanzal who had 51 on the year but only 22 for me. wallstreetamigo
That was a good fair trade between us. Too bad many other GM's don't recognize what that word means or don't have the patience to negotiate until they can reach a fair deal. Too many GM's looking for a steal or lopsided victory and not willing to give in order to get.
