According to reports, forward Rob Schremp is headed to Sweden.

The former first-round draft pick will play for MODO of the Swedish Elite League this upcoming season.

The 25-year-old Schremp was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the first round (25th overall) of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. In September of 2009, he was claimed by the New York Islanders and spent nearly two seasons on Long Island before being placed on waivers. He was claimed by the Atlanta Thrashers this past February but the club, now the Winnipeg Jets, did not tender a qualifying offer.

In 114 career NHL games, the Fulton, NY, native has 20 goals, 34 assists and has a minus- 23 rating.

Let me put a poll out there.....

Who would you rather have for the next 3 years, on your fantasy team?

1) Niklas Kronwall

2) Alex Pietrangelo

3) Zack Bogosian

4) Kevin Bieksa

5) Bryan McCabe

6) Jordan Leopold

7) Alex Edler

8) Brent Burns

9) Mark Streit

10) P.K Subban

And remember.....we're talking fantasy points for the playoffs and regular season(meaning they'd have to have the ability to play in both based on the teams they're actually on)......which of these dmen is the best choice, if you were putting a team together, to anchor a dcorps?

Edit - and i'm not putting anyone's team or players down, in the slightest...honestly.

For 3 years, and 3 years only?

If a team isn't playoff worthy, then that eliminates them immediately. That eliminates Streit, Pietrangelo and maybe Bogosian.

Leopold? Doesn't belong on the list in the first place.

Here are the players fantasy points per game last year:

1) Niklas Kronwall 3.25

2) Alex Pietrangelo 3.65

3) Zack Bogosian 1.69

4) Kevin Bieksa 3.85

5) Bryan McCabe 2.85

6) Jordan Leopold 3.15

7) Alex Edler 4.59

8) Brent Burns 4.38

9) Mark Streit

10) P.K Subban 4.39

Bieksa, Edler, Burns, Kronwall and Subban have perrennial playoff teams, with the 3 three being deep playoff threats for the next 3 years.

Having said that, I'd order them:

1. Alex Edler

2. Brent Burns

3. Kevin Bieksa

4. PK Subban

5. Alex Pietrangelo

6. Nick Kronwall

7. Mark Streit

8. Zach Bogosian

9. Jordan Leopold

10. Bryan McCabe
