RiCHC3
edit: Couldn't link the images for some reason. http://picbored.tumblr.com/post/7656582912/3-new-pictures-for-the-spider-man-relaunch-looks 2nd edit: and ya, looks like so many "leaks" are coming out. Too coincidental though, lol.
7thMan
I guess it can't be any worse than Spider-Man 3, right?

Madness
I'll watch it for sure. Not too fond of another reboot though.
*vInTaGe*
Is it the "Amazing" Spider-man thread? or the "Amazing Spider-man" thread?
Jester@wraiths.ca
From the trailer, I like the feel. A bit darker (no parents, then his uncle who raised him gets killed because of his inaction, it should have some darkness to it). And the thing I hated the most in the other Spiderman movies was how they made his webbing natural, completely different from the story, where he made his web shooters, so I'm really glad to see that in the reboot, he has webshooters he made. Industrious1
Another reboot? Does this mean every few movies or so we reset into Spider-Man fighting Green Goblin and never get to move to some of the other important stuff that happens in his career? Hopes are not high for this.
nitronuts
Why does the last part of the trailer look like a video game? lol

Hobble
So in the comic books, is Spiderman a mutant who can shoot webs from his wrists, or a Batman-esque techy who builds web-shooters? Never really knew which one was the actual story line. If the latter is true, is he still bitten by a radio-active spider and given superpowers (ie. strength, climbing on walls, etc.) and the webs are the only thing artificial? Guest Voucer
It seems more people know about his secret based on the clips from the trailer. Some of the scenes look incredibly similar to scenes from Spider-Man 1 and 2, as well. It honestly feels like they're retreading the same territory all over again, albeit with a few minor differences. Spidey will be fighting Doc Connors (The Lizard) in this one. The second and third films of the previous trilogy seemed to hint at The Lizard appearing eventually. Unfortunately, we won't get to see Dylan Baker reprise the role. nitronuts
From Wikipedia: The film began shooting on December 6, 2010 in Los Angeles.[44][45] The film is the first Hollywood production to be filmed with the RED Epic camera, and is being shot in 3-D at 5K resolution.[45] The 90-day film shoot included two weeks in New York City, while the bulk of filming occurred in and around Los Angeles, including such locations as the Henry Fonda Theater in Hollywood, St. John Bosco High School's Gym, Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Mid-Wilshire, and various locations around South Pasadena, San Pedro, and Woodland Hills.[46] So the storyline is partially set in Los Angeles? No? God bless Spiderman for jumping those 10-feet high building canyons in L.A.!
