hockeyville88
coming off of CDC hiatus for a minute just to congratulate and welcome back Jannik Hansen!! Hell of a player with a very consistent work ethic and many great dimensions to his game. He has a potential to add even more dimensions and become a 15 goal scorer imo. Great to have him back. Ok see ya'll in a few months. I miss u CDC but it's important for me to get out and do "summer things" while I can

Doug_Lidster
It's being reported as 3 yeras 5mil, so about 1.65 annually. That's too much for a guy who has never reached 10g 30p in his career

Yeria
Hansen with 1.6M per is definitely an over payment. It's good to know that he will be with us for the next 3 years but I don't see why so many people here are excited. This is an average deal at best and there's nothing to be excited about. srsface
I think the other stuff he does on the ice (pk,defensive play, checking) and not just points, is what he is getting paid for.

tas
jannik hansen is 10 times more valuable to the canucks than mason raymond. i would have been happy to give jannik $2.5 mil.
VC Devil
He will get there this season, quote me on it. Hansen has the potential to be a perennial 45-50 point guy and I think we will see him reach those numbers sometime during this new contract. The 3 year deal is perfect IMO because now he can just relax and play his game without having to worry about job security.
Mr.Habitat
Not an overpayment . Great deal , he's sn elite defensive winger , incredible work ethic. I could see him scoring 15 goals 35 points this year.
