Beary Sweet Posted January 15, 2017 Share Posted January 15, 2017 What a entertaining match between United and Liverpool. It was end to end action which ended in a 1-1 draw. I thought that United could've won the match. They were really turning it on Liverpool real late after Liverpool had control of the match for some parts. Ibra continues to capture United fans' hearts scoring an equalizer late in the match after Fellaini headed Rooney's cross off the post but Valencia got the ball right back into the 6 yard box where Ibra headed it bar down no chance. Had it not have been for Pogba's controversial hand ball in the 1st half to set up the Milner penalty, Ibra's goal might've been the winner. De Gea made a couple clutch saves that kept United in the match. Overall, it was a really tight game and both teams deserved the point at the end though United could've easily had flipped the script and won it late. Great entertaining match. Valencia was offside on the United goal. It was very close so I understand it being missed. Just too bad the linesman was 5 yards out of position. You're homerism is pathetic. Just a die hard United fan and want the team back to what it used to be doing and that's winning trophies. Firstly though, we need to find a way to get back into Champs League and only way possible right now is winning Europa League this year, which would be the best major trophy the team has won since the FA Cup last year. Played well for a couple games under LVG for few Europa League games, then was right back in the bench. GLASSJAW Posted January 19, 2017 Share Posted January 19, 2017 man, Memphis is a fantastic signing for Lyon. assuming he can re-gain some focus and live up to SOME of his potential, he could be a strong signing for them. can't see him sticking around if he does impress, though. he seems like the type of player/character who will move around a lot -- Balotelli style.
